Type, Lens, Size & Weight
The lens type on the Vitade 960A Pro Webcam is wide angle, providing an 80-degree viewing angle. You can squeeze two people in and be fine. What’s surprising is its size. It measures 1.90 x 2.50 x 3.00 inches and weighs 5.3-oz, probably the smallest webcam among our entries, and significantly smaller than the Logitech HD Webcam C525.
Resolution & Display
Shooting in 1080p, at 30fps, is already fantastic and ideal. But then enhancing lighting? Even better! The Vitade PC 960A Webcam automatically adjusts lighting in low light settings. Still coming out too dark? Then use the on-board ring light with 3 levels of brightness. Even when lighting is good, always check if the ring light will make it better.
Tripod & Image Stability
Get rid of the clip-on and go with a tripod. Clip-ons tend to drop image stability, so take full advantage of the screw hole underneath and your favorite tiny tripod.

Optical Zoom, Microphone, Audio & Storage
The Vitade Web Camera Video Cam does have zoom, but lacks internal storage. That’s pretty common, to be fair. On the other hand, the microphone isn’t that great. It picks up too much static for it to be a viable source of audio—not so much with the Logitech C270 Widescreen HD Webcam.
Value
The Vitade PC 960A Webcam is an interesting beast, because it provides a fair amount of features without being overpriced. The Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 is $20 more and yet is limited to 720p during live calls. You also get bonus lighting, which really helps when you’re suffering from poor settings. In other words: a great deal.
