You don’t have to look far for the best webcam for Mac, not with the Logitech 930E walking about. It has just about everything you need for various purposes. Want to stream or host conference calls? Its 1080p native resolution is great for that. Need a mic? The 930E is built with two!

Type, Lens, Size & Weight

Logitech placed a wide field lens into the Logitech 930E, giving it 90 degrees of extended view. They were also nice enough to give the webcam tilt and pan. Weighing 5.6 ounces and measuring 3.70 x 3.70 x 0.95 inches, it’s small, but the smallest. Still fits in your pocket and is portable.

Resolution & Display

The strong feature the Logitech 930E is packing is resolution. You can stream, video call, or capture in crisp, clean 1080p. On top of that, its low light performance is impeccable. Even just a bit of natural lighting can help banish any shadows, and it doesn’t have that strange white filter to it. Doesn’t quite beat 4K on the Logitech Brio, though.

Tripod & Image Stability

For the most part, image stability is pretty good. You might get frustrated with the base though. It’s a clip-on, which over time might loosen. You’d benefit greatly from a small tripod.

Optical Zoom, Microphone, Audio & Storage

Like the Logitech C922X, the Logitech C930E does have digital zoom, up to 4x. It doesn’t have internal storage though. It makes up for it being equipped with not one, but two microphones. On top of its really good audio quality, it improves it further through noise cancellation. All that makes it great for video conferencing.

Value

There’s no doubting the performance and design of the Logitech Webcam C930E. It hits all the right strides to be your main webcam for quite some time. However, $126 is a bit steep. High quality video calls are great and all, but pricing holds it back a smidge. If you already have an external mic, then we suggest going with the Razer Kiyo Webcam.

Logitech 930E Wrap Up

We’d be lying if we said you won’t miss out if you pass on the Logitech 930E, despite it being slightly overpriced. It’s tough finding a full HD webcam that doesn’t pull its punches in some way; this Logitech camera gives you the whole package: 1080p, a good microphone, and great in low light settings.
