#1  Logitech K400 Plus Wireless Keyboard

We're sorry, this product is temporarily out of stock

    Award: TOP PICK

WHY WE LIKE IT: The Logitech K400 Plus wireless keyboard takes the top spot on our list for its integrated keyboard and trackpad design, along with its quiet operation and long battery life. It’s also incredibly easy to set up and use on a daily basis.

    • Best wireless keyboard mouse combo
    • Quiet keys
    • 18 month battery life
    • Keys aren’t backlit
    • No dedicated scroll strip

While the K400 Plus isn’t technically a keyboard mouse combo in the sense that you don’t get a separate mouse accessory, we were blown away by the convenience of having an integrated trackpad directly on the keyboard. This combo design makes for more convenient lap use when you want to control your TV or PC from the couch instead of the desk. It also clears up a ton of space on your desk, unless you still want to use a mouse, which you can absolutely do with this keyboard.

The Logitech K400 Plus also performs superbly when it comes to typing over extended periods of time. While we wish the keys had been backlight, they are quiet and spaced far enough apart to be comfortable during typing sessions. We were also impressed with the overall design of the K400 Plus. It’s compact, lightweight and durable enough to take drops and bumps without breaking. Battery life is good, too, rated to give you power up to 18 months. If you’re looking for the best wireless keyboard for Mac and PC, this Logitech wireless keyboard is a great choice for you.  If you want another option, you might also want to look into the best backlit keyboard to compare.

#2  Arteck HB030B Slim Wireless Keyboard

WHY WE LIKE IT: The Arteck HB030B Slim is the best wireless keyboard for gaming on our list. With unique backlight colors, a slim profile and extra-comfortable keys, this wireless keyboard can take your gaming to the next level.

    • Best for gaming
    • 7 different backlight colors
    • 2 year warranty
    • Disappointing 6 month battery life
    • No battery life indicator

If you’re looking for an affordable, slim and comfortable keyboard for your gaming needs, look no further than the Arteck HB030B Slim wireless keyboard. This keyboard connects to your PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone via Bluetooth and during our testing, we didn’t experience any input lag or connection drops, which was an impressive feat to accomplish. The keys are also super comfortable and responsive, making them easier to use over longer gaming sessions.

The Arteck HB030B is slimmer than traditional gaming keyboards, but just as durable. The bluetooth keyboard also features a staple of the gaming keyboard world: backlit keys that can change colors. With 7 different color presets, you can customize the Arteck to fit your own personal aesthetic. Unfortunately, the battery life on the Arteck is a little disappointing with a rating of up to 6 months, which can drain faster during gaming sessions. However, this is somewhat mitigated with the USB charging cable, which you can keep plugged in during intense gaming sessions for extended battery life.  With a keyboard this nice, you might want to also invest in the best keyboard stand.

#3  Rii i4 Mini Wireless Keyboard

    Award: BEST SMART TV

WHY WE LIKE IT: The Rii i4 Mini is the best wireless keyboard for universal compatibility. This device can connect to gaming consoles, computers, tablets, smartphones, Apple TV’s, Fire TV Boxes and more.

Read Full Review: Rii i4 Mini Review

    • Best universal compatibility
    • 7 different backlight colors
    • Incredibly durable construction
    • Keys are a little stiff
    • Scroll wheel isn’t very smooth

The Rii i4 Mini wireless keyboard is one of the most unique options on our list. It’s the most portable option on our list because it can easily fit into your pocket. It measures in at just 7.1 x 4.2 x 0.9 inches. Since it can fit so easily into your pocket and pair with almost any device via both Bluetooth and USB, you can take and use the keyboard anywhere.  This keyboards portability easily make it the best tablet keyboard on our list.

This isn’t a traditional wireless keyboard, and as such, it can take a little practice to get used to. The keys are a little stiff and the scroll wheel doesn’t scroll as fluidly as we’d like to see, but once you get the hang of it, the Rii i4 speeds up your typing on any device to which it’s connected. The keys are backlit so you can easily operate the Rii i4 in the dark and it even includes a responsive touchpad for mouse functionality.  Have you been having an issue with messy chords around your desk?

#4  Microsoft All-in-One Media Wireless Keyboard

    Award: BEST BUDGET

WHY WE LIKE IT: The Microsoft All-in-One Media wireless keyboard is simple and affordable, making it a great choice for anyone who wants tons of functionality and extra durability without paying a ton for it.

Read Full Review: Microsoft All-in-One Media Wireless Keyboard

    • Best durable
    • Spill resistant design
    • Integrated multi-touch trackpad
    • Disappointing battery life
    • No buttons on the trackpad

The Microsoft All-in-One Media wireless keyboard is a fairly simple keyboard in both its functionality and design, which is why it’s such an affordable purchase. However, the basic functionality of this keyboard doesn’t make it bad by any means. In fact, this is one of the most reliable keyboards on our list. It’s meant to be used with both smart TVs and computers, so it includes a handy integrated trackpad with multi-touch functionality. This enables you to more easily use the keyboard while you’re sitting on the couch. Unfortunately, there aren’t buttons on the trackpad, so making mouse clicks can be difficult.

The overall construction of the Microsoft All-in-One Media wireless keyboard is impressive overall. It features a spill-resistant design that can also handle bumps and drops with ease. During our testing, the keys were comfortable, even over extended periods of use. The keyboard connects to your devices via encrypted USB transceiver and we didn’t experience any drops or input lag during use.  This product is easy to use, definitely in the running for the best smart tv keyboard on our list.

     #5  iClever BK03 Wireless Keyboard

WHY WE LIKE IT: The iClever BK03 is the best foldable wireless keyboard on our list, and with such a unique design, also one of the most portable. It features strong Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity and aircraft-grade construction for an overall durable and functional product.

Read Full Review: iClever BK03 Review

    • Best durable
    • Spill resistant design
    • Can connect to 3 devices simultaneously
    • Not compatible with Apple computers
    • Not full size

The first thing you’ll notice about the iClever BK03 wireless keyboard is its design. First of all, this is a ¾ sized keyboard, so it lacks a 10-key number pad and features smaller buttons overall. It also folds into itself. When folded, it’s 5.7 inches wide and when unfolded, it’s 10.3 inches wide. It’s not every day that you see a foldable keyboard, but the iClever wireless keyboard nails this design perfectly.

While you may think that the foldable design would get unwieldy, it’s actually very well done. The hinges don’t get in the way and they open and close with ease. The keyboard is also built from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, making it one of the most durable keyboards on our list. Overall performance of this bluetooth keyboard is also impressive. Most impressive of all the features here is the built-in Bluetooth 5.1, which allows you to connect up to 3 devices simultaneously, making this the best Bluetooth keyboard. Unfortunately, this keyboard doesn’t work with Apple computers, but it pairs seamlessly with Windows, iOS and Android devices.

#6  Microsoft Wedge Mobile Wireless Keyboard

WHY WE LIKE IT: The Microsoft Wedge Mobile is the best wireless keyboard for tablets and other portable devices. It features a one-piece metal body that just feels good in your hands and is extra-durable to boot.

    • Very portable and compact
    • Light-touch keys
    • Multi-function cover
    • Smaller keys
    • Batteries are hard to replace

The Windows Wedge Mobile wireless keyboard was made specifically for Windows tablets, but it also works with most other Android devices and iPads due to its Bluetooth connectivity. We were most impressed with this keyboard’s overall construction and durability. It features a metal body that feels premium when handled. The keys are comfortable, but definitely smaller than a full-sized keyboard, which can be difficult to use with larger fingers. However, the light-touch keys make overall operation much easier since they don’t require you to press as hard in order to get them to register.

Another one of the Wedge’s standout features includes the multi-function cover that’s included with your purchase. As you might expect, the cover protects your Wedge wireless keyboard when it’s not in use, but when snapped on, it will also automatically power down the unit. It also doubles as a tablet stand for better tablet functionality while you’re out and about. If you need a compact, durable and functional keyboard to use on the go, look no further than the Microsoft Wedge Mobile wireless keyboard.

     #7  WisFox 2.4G Wireless Keyboard

WHY WE LIKE IT: The WisFox 2.4G is the best USB wireless keyboard on our list, with a nano receiver that doesn’t get in the way and offers extremely simple plug and play installation. If you want a keyboard that just works without all the fussy installation requirements, this option is perfect for you.

Read Full Review: WisFox 2.4G Review

    • Ultra easy to set up & great connectivity
    • Ultra-thin body
    • Plug and play
    • Small keys
    • Trackpad can be really sensitive

The WisFox 2.4G wireless keyboard takes simplicity and functionality to the next level. For starters, installing this keyboard is as simple as plugging the receiver in to your computer or device and typing away. After that, you can expect a reliable connection that won’t drop randomly during use. It provides an anti-jamming transmission that won’t be affected by interference from other devices. The WisFox keyboard also features an integrated trackpad that you can use with smart TVs, tablets and computers alike. Unfortunately it can be really sensitive at times.

The overall design of the WisFox keyboard is sturdy and durable, even in spite of its ultra-thin profile. It’s lightweight and the keys are comfortable to use, even if they are spaced fairly close together. We were most impressed by how quiet the WisFox’s keys were during typing. If you need the most reliable USB connection for your wireless keyboard, the WisFox 2.4G is a good choice.

    How We Decided

To start our testing of the wireless keyboards, we measured each option first and foremost on their overall performance. The best wireless keyboards should always stay connected to your devices, as long as you stay in range, and should provide quick responsiveness whenever you press a key. We ranked keyboards higher if we didn’t experience any drops in connectivity or input lag, especially during power sessions.

We also weighted battery life heavily in our testing. The best keyboards can offer up to 3 years of battery life, while on average you’ll get 18 to 24 months total. We also gave preference to keyboards with rechargeable batteries instead of those without.

When it comes to design, we rated keyboards higher if they offered additional premium features. We preferred to see features like backlit keys, customizable hotkeys and spill resistance. We also valued durable construction in each of the keyboards we included on our list. Each of the wireless keyboards on our list is designed to last through either light or heavy usage with no lasting damage or problems. And if you do run into any defects, the keyboards on our list all offer at least a 1 year warranty.

    Best Wireless Keyboard Buyer’s Guide

The Most Important Features to Consider

    1. USB vs. Bluetooth Connection
Wireless keyboards can connect to your computer via one of two options: USB adapter or Bluetooth. USB wireless keyboards include a small adapter that you can plug into your computer to establish a connection. Bluetooth keyboards are truly wireless and don’t need any adapters or anything else to connect to your computer. USB wireless keyboards often provide a greater connection range and longer battery life over Bluetooth keyboards. However, they can only connect to devices that have available USB ports and may run into interference if you have other devices that are running on the same frequency. Bluetooth wireless keyboards are usually limited to around 33 feet in range and lower battery lives, but they are truly seamless in their wireless connectivity. They can also connect to any device that has Bluetooth capabilities.
    2. Portability
One of the main draws to wireless keyboards is their overall portability. Where wired options need to constantly be connected to a computer, wireless keyboards can be safely tucked away in bags and backpacks so you can bring them with you. Keyboards come in all shapes and sizes, and the amount of portability you get depends largely on the shape and size of the keyboard you purchase. The best portable wireless keyboards tend to be sleek with slim dimensions and the kind of minimalistic look that was first made popular by Apple’s Magic keyboard. So before making a purchase, consider first whether or not you want to take your keyboard with you, or if you’ll be carrying it around your working space. If so, consider one that is compact enough to fit in our bag and that’s easy to carry one handed.
    3. Battery Life
Since wireless keyboards aren’t drawing constant power from your computer, they need batteries for their power source. In general, you’ll want to purchase a wireless keyboard that offers a long-lasting battery life. The fortunate thing is that wireless keyboards don’t draw a lot of power, so the best options can give you years of solid reliability and life. Of course, battery life can vary depending on your keyboard usage. For example, if you are using a wireless gaming keyboard, you’ll want something with a longer battery life to last you through extended gaming sessions.
    4. Design Considerations
Just because wireless keyboards offer wireless functionality doesn’t mean you should overlook other design considerations. Things like comfort, ergonomics and durable keys are all still important to the overall quality of the keyboard. You should also consider adjustability features like hotkeys and flip-out stands for better angles. You can even delve into really unique keyboard designs like foldable wireless keyboards.
