Performance
The Arteck 2.4G Keyboard Stainless Steel Ultra-Compact and Mouse perform well as a pair. The keyboard itself makes use of low-profile keys—not exactly for high-intensity gaming like the Redragon S101 Keyboard, but comfortable quiet keys excel at being lightweight for comfortable typing. It’s ideal in a general setting like a family computer or at-home office. The mouse serves its purpose but isn’t anything special. But, it’s a great wireless keyboard and mouse combo. The best feature, however, is the lithium battery. It’s an industry high-capacity battery that lasts up to 6 months. No need to buy batteries! The mouse is also rechargeable and will last a good 4 months, which is the best thing it does.

Design
For under $30, we were fairly impressed by the overall design stainless steel looks so good lining the undercarriage. It gives it a real tough exterior that prevents the keyboard from bending. The layout is very reminiscent of a laptop keyboard: low-profile keys with backlighting to help in the dark. The keys aren’t like the KLIM Chroma Wireless Keyboard, but the KLIM is better suited for gaming. This is not, however, a stainless steel ultra-slim full-size keyboard. The Arteck 2.4G does have a full-size version, but this is their compact version.
Since this is a wireless keyboard stainless steel package, it works through the use of a nano USB receiver. We didn’t like that an entire USB port was taken, but it’s an easy setup anyways. Simply insert the receiver into your computer and the keyboard and mouse will connect automatically. If you enjoy using tablets besides a computer, typing becomes easier if you have a tablet with a keyboard setup.

Value
Given that the Arteck 2.4G Wireless Keyboard performs well and has a surprisingly higher quality build than most keyboards, it isn’t far from being one of the best wireless keyboards for its price range. At the same time, you’re also getting a decent mouse bundled inside. And we can’t forget that it’s rechargeable, saving you hundreds of dollars on batteries. We have no problem giving the Arteck 2.4G Wireless Keyboard our mark of great value. The Arteck 2.4G Wireless Keyboard checked a lot of boxes for us: long battery life, low-profile keys, and a good price. Its design is surprisingly strong and comes bundled with a mouse. It excels in an office setting, so long as you don’t need a number pad or free ports.
