What the Epson WorkForce WF-7210 Color Laser Printers lacks in USB Thumb Drive support it makes up for by allowing for NFC printing for quick and easy prints of your important documents. This, and other great features, makes it one of the best printers for personal and small-medium sized businesses.

Speed

The WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format Printer contains a print speed of about 15 pages per minute (ppm) for monochrome pages and roughly 7.6ppm for color pages. Averaging those out, print speed is about 11.3ppm. This is pretty much on-par with other All-in-One Wide Format printers, but you can check out the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 if you’d like something faster. Overall though, the WorkForce WF-7210 is great for light office or home office use.

Print Quality

Epson WorkForce WF-7210 Inkjet Printers produce excellent quality and easily readable text printouts right down to the lowest font settings. When it comes to color–business graphics and photos–the WF-7210 prints with good detail and accuracy. There is some banding present when it comes to dark green and black backgrounds, but this is a problem most printers have, like the HP Designjet T120, so you can hardly fault the WF-7210 for that.

Efficiency

The running costs on the WorkForce WF-7210 are high compared to regular printers, but on par with wide format printers. It’s cyan, magenta, yellow, and black ink cartridge set-up runs about 3.2 cents for monochrome pages and 11.4 cents for color pages which averages about 7.3 cents per page. If you’re looking to save on running costs, check out the Brother Inkjet Printer MFC-J985DW.

Advanced Features

The connectivity options on the WorkForce WF-7210 consist of Wi-Fi, Ethernet, USB, Wi-Fi Direct, and NFC. What the printer is missing is USB thumb drive support so you won’t be able to print from a memory device. When it comes to mobile connectivity options the WF-7210 supports all the standard features like Apple AirPrint, for example, and the NFC allows you to print by touching your smartphone or tablet to a specific location on the device (to the left of the control panel).

Value

The paper tray on the WorkForce WF-7210 is vast and comes with two drawers that hold 250 pages each as well as an override tray in the back for printing one-off sheets like premium photo paper. And being able to print with Epson methods allows it access to DURABrite Ultra Pigment packs. However, at $576.00, it’s a rather expensive piece of equipment that we know will scare some people off.

WorkForce WF-7210 Wrap Up

The Workforce WF-7210 is an expensive piece of equipment, and combining that with high running costs, you’ll likely ask yourself if the positives really outweigh the negatives. But if you do decide and bite the bullet and purchase one, you’ll find it’s high-quality printing abilities and convenience a breath of fresh air.
