MFC-L2750DW Brother Printers boast great printing speeds for text pages and make both a best home office printer and best laser printer. There may be some banding when printing graphics and photos, and photos will turn black & white. Nevertheless, it still performs better than some of the top-rated printers.

Speed

Brother MFC-L2750DW Monochrome Laser Printers boasts an impressive print speed of 36ppm for text pages. When adding in graphics from Excel and PowerPoint speeds fell to 14.5ppm, but that’s still serviceable for a home office printer. If you need something that can print graphics just a little bit faster, consider the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015.

Print Quality

The Brother MFC-L2750DW All-In-One Printer’s quality will differ depending on what you need. Black & white text quality is typesetter-level of crisp and readable down to even four point font. Excel and PowerPoint graphics were fine, but did have some banding issues on occasion. Photos are grayscale versions of color photos and print fine, though some noticeable banding does occur. If you need something that can print color more easily, consider a Canon ImageClass printer or the Brother MFC-L3770CDW Laser.

Efficiency

The printer comes with a large black toner cartridge upon initial purchase and can last you quite a while and should provide you with all the printing and scanning you need. However, INKvestment isn’t available with this printer, and after the initial toner runs out, you’ll start having to buy ink to print scan. And doing this can push running costs up to 3.6 cents per monochrome page. If you prefer an ink subscription method, check out the Canon TS9120.

Advanced Features

With Ethernet, Wi-Fi-, Wi-Fi Direct (in case your wireless network goes down), USB, and, NFC, the printer has all the connection features you want. Mobile connectivity includes Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, and Brother’s iPrint&Scan. It also includes Nuance Paperport, available via download, which enables you to edit a PDF and document and manage all your files.

Value

There’s still plenty to talk about regarding the Brother MFC-L2750DW. It comes with a color touchscreen and single pass and auto-duplex printing. Both of these are a rarity among printers, so having them included in an entry-level printer is outstanding. It comes with a large paper tray and an automatic document feeder as well as a one-year limited warranty.

Brother MFC-L2750DW Wrap Up

The products Brother puts out are consistently good and high-quality, and the Brother MFC-L2750DW is no different. It’s a shame it’s not eligible for INvestment, but the large, included toner cartridge should somewhat make up for that with its average of two years free printing. But if you’re using this in an office it can run out pretty quickly, so be aware.
