Speed
With a reasonable DPI set, you should be able to reach up to 15 PPM (monochrome) and 10 PPM (color). That is considerably faster than other cheap photo printers. The only thing that’s a bit of a shame is that the paper tray of this Canon printer can only hold about 40 sheets of photo paper at once. So it’s not really cut out for high volume jobs. From both the printer driver and the Canon print app, you can select up to 4800 x 1200 DPI print resolution. The optical scanner has a resolution of 2400 x 4800 DPI. And the photo blue ink tank is included that provides immaculate picture quality while printing borderless prints. This Canon printer can print out some really impressive looking 4” x 6”, 5” x 7”, and even 5” x 5” square borderless photos.
