As far as a best touch screen laptop and best laptop is concerned, a large and responsive screen is paramount. Thankfully, the LG Gram 15 has this, and an astounding 16 battery battery life. This places it well ahead of most other touch screen laptops. And you’ll probably be using the touchscreen a lot considering the oddly designed keyboard.

It’s an excellent laptop designed for the modern working person with a bunch of cool features tacked on for a broad range of employment coverage.

Power/Performance

Running off an Intel Core i7 processor, the LG Gram 15, with its 15 inch screen, has more than enough power to get you through everyday tasks. Perfect for multitasking, the 16GB of RAM ensures you can run multiple programs smoothly at the same time. Paired with a responsive touch screen your productivity will be unmatched, even by the Dell XPS 13 9380.

Battery

LG Gram Laptops have great battery life. Able to last all day while still being light weight and portable, the Gram 15 brings the best of both when it comes to power and versatility. Lasting a total of 16 and a half hours, it’s more than enough for day to day tasks so you don’t need to worry about bringing a charger unless you’re running more demanding programs.

Ports/Expandability

The LG Gram 15 comes equipped with standard USB ports, a lock slot, a microSD card slot, a USB C port, and an HDMI. Including type c support is a smart move for LG and allows the Gram 15 to adapt to whatever situation, work or play, the machine finds itself in.

Build Quality

Having an ultra lightweight frame has advantages and disadvantages. When it comes to the LG Gram 15, its light frame leaves it feeling somewhat flimsy. A small drop may be enough to break the laptop which is scary for a laptop at this price. Adding an odd keyboard layout, the Gram 15 seems to be filled with odd choices. Should you be in the market for something sturdier, the Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 will do just fine.

Value

An investment of $1500 is nothing to scoff at, but the Gram 15 is well worth it. For those who need an on-the-go laptop that can last well beyond the normal workday, the Gram 15 is worth a look. The full HD touchscreen is a nice addition to ensure you have the clearest picture possible, and its video editing capabilities

LG Gram 15 Wrap Up

If LG could have made this laptop just a little more durable they would have a real winner on their hands. Not to say this laptop isn’t a winner already, but it’s hard to justify spending $1500 on a laptop they may break from such a small drop. It’s nerve-racking to have to walk on pins and needles all the time.
