Power/Performance

Much like the rest of Asus’ top of the line products, the Asus Zenbook Duo doesn’t fail to impress. With the main display being an OLED panel, pictures will never look better, and with Nvidia RTX graphics, you can run practically anything. Running off an Intel Core i7, multitasking is a breeze, doing it better than even the Dell XPS 13 9380.

Battery

Something that should be obvious is the fact that dual screen laptops take up a lot of battery. Add on to the two screens a touch display and a gaming performance GPU like the Nvidia GeForce RTX series, battery life will be minimal to say the least. The main screen runs off at 4K, so in order to fully maximize the potential of the Asus Zenbook Pro Duo, bring the charger, or opt for the Lenovo Yoga C940 instead.

Ports/Expandability

The Asus Zenbook Pro Duo comes equipped with USB ports, Thunderbolt 3, audio jack, and a HDMI port. While seemingly sparse, the addition of Thunderbolt 3 is a welcome one, and adds a whole layer of versatility to the Zenbook Pro Duo.

Build Quality

One would think that the second screen included with Asus’ Zenbook would compromise the integrity of the laptop, but that’s anything but true. In fact, Asus seemed to have doubled down on the durability of the Zenbook, perhaps a bit too much. The laptop is heavy, and some may have a hard time carrying it around on a day to day basis. For those who are looking for something lighter, the Dell XPS 2 in 1 is a lighter alternative.

Value

Just for the multitasking alone the Asus Zenbook Pro Duo is worth the price of admission. The screenpad plus acts as a second display, allowing you to game on the main screen while reading on the other, or vice versa. It’s durable, powerful, everything one would need in a true all in one laptop.

Asus Zenbook Pro Duo Wrap Up

Packed with features that would make the Macbook pro shiver in its boots, the Asus Zenbook Pro Duo is a powerhouse in its own class. With a beautiful 4K screen, low temperatures and rapid storage, issues with weight and battery are minimal at best. The performance provided by the Zenbook is unparalleled, and will no doubt turn the eye of many buyers.
