For on the go work, buyers usually have to compromise between power and portability. The Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 review will show that this no longer has to be the case. With a long battery life and USB C support, the Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 is a versatile compassion for on the go work. Fair power delivery and touch display make the Dell XPS one of the best laptops all around.

Power/Performance

Unlike other thin laptops that are powered by the weaker Intel Core i3 or other arctic white CPUS, the Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 has the Intel core i7 equipped. Paired with Iris XE integrated graphics, the Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 can run games at acceptable frame rates at uHD graphics, something that neither the Spectre X360 or the Dell XPS 13 9380 can claim.

Battery

One of the most important aspects of a portable laptop is the battery life. When it comes to the Dell XPS 13 2 in 1, it has the capability to last the whole day on a single charge. In regards to productive work such as documentation and typing, the XPS 13 2 in 1 can hold its own with the Lenovo Yoga C940. However the XPS 13 2 in 1 can also game, and it is in this regard that you may need to bring the charger.

Ports/Expandability

The Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 comes equipped with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, microSD card slot, and a USB C port. It’s an odd choice from Dell not to include any USB A ports, however they attempt to rectify this with an adapter. Still, for those who don’t want to carry around a dongle, the LG Gram 15 has a wide range of ports.

Build Quality

In terms of quality, the Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 is unrivaled. Featuring a slim and compact profile, people will have no problem taking the laptop around all day for on the go use. However there is one caveat: the keyboard is a deal breaker for many, the keyboard featured in the XPS 13 2 in 1 takes some time getting used to. For those who take the time, it soon becomes second nature to use.

With the included Iris XE graphics, the Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 can do both work and play. Finding a use for every situation, the $700+ price is more than worth it.
