When looking for an on-the-go laptop, most people find it hard to choose between performance and battery life. The LG Gram 14 Touch Screen Laptop attempts to meet at the middle and be the best of both. Featuring a diverse port selection, a long-lasting battery, all in a durable build, issues with the speakers and pen storage seem trivial. The LG Gram 14 more than earns a spot in our list for Best Laptops.

Why We Like It – LG Gram 14 Touch Screen Laptop

As soon as the power button is turned on, the LG Gram 14 Touch Screen Laptop is ready to work. A backlit keyboard and iris plus graphics are all included, and this touchscreen laptop still has long battery life.

Power/Performance

With a full HD IPS panel, the LG Gram 14 was created to pack a punch and then some. Running on the latest gen Intel Core i7, multitasking will be effortless and second nature to the Gram 14. The IPS touchscreen is intuitive and easy to use, never feeling slow or clunky thanks to the CPU. To top it off, the integrated Iris Plus graphics make whatever you see spectacular. The LG Gram 14 easily matches the Dell XPS 13 9380 in terms of performance. If you want an Apple product, try the Apple Macbook Pro M1 13″  that has 18 hours of juice on its battery.

Battery

Going toe to toe with the Lenovo Yoga C940 regarding battery life is no easy task; however, somehow, the LG Gram 14 does so with ease. Being able to contain a solid-state drive, IPS LCD screen, and a backlit keyboard is impressive enough, but even more extraordinary is the fact that this doesn’t seem to affect the battery life at all. Even with the draining components, the Gram 14 still manages to have an all-day battery.

Ports/Expandability

The LG Gram 14 comes equipped with two USB ports, one USB C port, HDMI, headphone jack, and MicroSD slot. To top it off, LG includes a USB C to ethernet dongle. It’s a safe bet to say that the LG Gram 14 can essentially connect to anything, a claim that not many laptops can make, requiring only one dongle, which even then is more of an accessory due to Wi-Fi being the new standard in internet connection.

Build Quality

With everything being fantastic so far with the LG Gram 14, the build quality is no exception. The laptop itself is lightweight yet durable. However, some components make it from being perfect. The speakers aren’t the best. A simple solution is using headphones, but audiophiles may want to consider the Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 for better sound. There is an inclusion of a stylus pen, but it seems somewhat redundant with nowhere to put it.

Value

This dark silver laptop is high in terms of price, nearly $1500, quite the amount of money; however, if you’re looking for a durable laptop that’ll last a long time, you won’t find anything better. Able to connect to anything, you’ll find yourself carrying no dongles or charging cables when using the LG Gram 14.

LG Gram 14 Touch Screen Laptop Wrap Up

Sleek, powerful, enduring, the LG Gram 14 is the trifecta of portability, power, and durability. Due to its battery, able to last long days, a diverse port selection, and durable build make this laptop one to watch out for, even with minor issues regarding the speakers and stylus pen.
