The Weber Spirit II E-310 is another in a long time of fantastic Weber grills. It’s powerful enough to sear your meat and fish to perfection and large enough to feed your hungry family and some friends. As long as you’re not cooking for a backyard full of people, you’ll be more than fine.

Power/Heating
Weber Spirit E-310 Gas Grills has three burners with a combined BTU of 30,000 which is right where it needs to be. The unit doesn’t include a side burner, which is unfortunate but not all that uncommon. If you review Weber grills, such as this Spirit Line or the Weber Genesis II, you’ll find similar power output. Consider the Blackstone 36 Stainless Steel Griddle if you want something more powerful.

Size/Versatility
Unlike the Weber Q2300 which is smaller, the Spirit II has a cooking area of 529 square inches. Again, this is exactly where it needs to be, and a grilling area this large should comfortably feed a family and a few friends. If you only need grilling space for your family, consider the Char-Broil Performance 2 Burner. Further, the Weber comes in natural gas or propane gas options, and it’s nice to have the ability to choose what you prefer.
Durability
The build quality on the Spirit is the same high quality as you’d expect from Weber. The open cart design allows for extra storage, especially if you choose the natural gas option, and the cast-iron grates work well in extending the life of the machine. It only weighs about 107 pounds, which is light for its class. Still, try the Weber Q1200 if you want a true portable barbecue.

Ease of Use
The porcelain-enameled cast-iron grates also work well in cleaning because the stains flip right off or come off easily with a brush. Weber’s grease management system also aids greatly in mitigating cleanup and the stainless steel flavorizer bars catch dripping to minimize flare-ups and return the flavor to the meat. Finally, the Infinity Ignition System is guaranteed to light every time!
Value
Weber’s GS4 Grilling System is on display proudly on the Weber Spirit II. It’s a little on the pricey side for a mid-level propane grill on the one side, but on the other, you get a ton of features for an optimal grilling experience. To help justify the price of a new Weber they have also included a 10-year warranty. Excluding normal wear and tear, of course.

It’s really hard to find a bad Weber grill. There are some, but the Weber Spirit II isn’t one of them. It doesn’t have a side burner, which is unfortunate, but it’s meant for family barbecuing, so it doesn’t really require one. Do you want to pay extra for a feature you’re going to rarely use?
