The Coleman Fold N Go Propane Grill is able to produce 10,000 BTUs of power which, on the surface, should sound like a lot. The problem is that the cooking grates sit too far up above the flame, which causes them to heat much slower. In tests, people found it took a full seven minutes just to boil a quart of water. Size/Versatility
The Coleman Fold N Go + Propane Grill offers a 105-square-inch grilling surface. This is by far the lowest grilling surface we’ve seen on a portable grill. Even the Weber Q1200 offers a grilling surface that’s 80 square inches bigger. However, this grill is more suited for cooking things like rice and stew and not for steaks and veggies. In short, it’s a simmering grill, not a searing grill. For good searing grills, you’ll want the Char-Broil Classic 280 or the Coyote S Series grill.
Durability
Unlike the Coleman 225 gas grill, the Coleman Fold N Go + Propane Grill is among the lightest and most portable grills we’ve seen so far at only eight pounds. Not even Weber’s portable grills, like the Weber Q1000, can match this. It even comes with a carrying handle for easy transportation. Ease of Use
The fuel adaptor is good because the threads are fully exposed instead of recessed and hidden inside the stove body which makes it easy to connect. The cooking surface and grease tray are both removable and dishwasher safe for easy cleaning, and set-up is as easy as squeezing the edges to open it and attaching the grates to the stove body properly.
Value
In all honesty, I can justify paying nearly $150.00 for a grill like this. I can think of plenty of other grills that have much better specs for a much cheaper price. The only reason this grill should find a space amongst your camping equipment is if you like to cook things like rice and stew. If that’s your bread and butter, then by all means go for it.

The Coleman Fold N Go + Propane Grill is good at what it does, and what it does is simmer for excellent rice dishes and stews. If you’re looking to do any other type of cooking with it, I would suggest doing it elsewhere. And don’t expect those dishes to be cooked quickly either because the Coleman Fold N Go + Propane Grill still takes a while to heat up.
