If you know you’re going to be searching for the best grills once summer rolls around, it might help to narrow your search to the best natural gas grills or the best rotisserie grill. But why not both? The Broil King Regal S590 Pro is a powerful natural gas grill that comes with a rotisserie for even livelier cookouts!

Why We Like It – Broil King Regal S590 Pro

Broil King Regal S590 Pro Natural Gas Grills are perfect for family barbecues. They’re powerful enough to sear meat to perfection, and have ample cooking space so if your neighbors decide to drop by, you can feed them too! And if you need even more power you can opt for the six-burner model. If you’re interested in an infrared model, check out our Char-Broil x200 review.

Pros

  • Natural gas or liquid propane options
  • Porcelain-coated cooking grates
Cons
  • Heavy
  • No Interior Halogen Lights

Power/Heating

The Regal S590 Pro Gas Grill comes with five main burners capable of heating up to 55,000 BTUs, a 10,000 BTU side burner, and a 15,000 BTU rear rotisserie burner. This brings the total power to an impressive 80,000 BTUs. Of course, you can always get the six-burner model if you want more power, or you can opt for the Napoleon Burners Prestige PRO 665 Natural Gas Grill.

Size/Versatility

Unlike the Blackstone 28-inch flat-top gas grill griddle, the Regal S590 has a primary cooking area of 625 square inches. Add in the warming rack and side burners, and you have a total cooking space of 825 Square Inches. Of course, if you only need space for your family, you can check out the Weber Genesis 310. The S590 also has the option of coming in natural gas or liquid propane, so choose what’s best for you!

Durability

At 217 pounds, the Regal S590 is on the heavier side of natural gas grills. But it does have four casters so it is a bit easier to move around if need be. If you need something lighter to take with you camping, consider the Weber Q3200. On the plus side, the S590’s cast aluminum end caps and material stainless steel cook box provide excellent durability and performance. Ease of Use

The stainless steel cooking grates on the S590 provide excellent heat retention without much maintenance on your part. They are also porcelain-coated so they will be much easier to clean because the meat flakes will either wipe right off or slide off into the stainless steel dual-tube burners on their own. Further, they will vaporize these droppings to create smoke for a distinctive flavor.

Value

There really isn’t much to complain about with the Broil King Regal S590 Pro. They even come with blue LED-lit control knobs to make nighttime cooking much easier. Unfortunately, there’s no word if there are halogen lights on the hood to make the food easier to see. Customer reviews are good too, scoring 4.5/5 stars on Amazon based on 111 reviews.

Broil King Regal S590 Pro Wrap Up

It would have been nice if the Broil King Regal S590 Pro weighed just a little less, but if you already know where you’re putting it then it’s a non-issue. Overall, it’s a fine machine that’s durable, easy to use, and highly versatile. It can be customized to fit your unique needs.
