The Asus Vivobook K570ZD Casual Gaming Laptop may seem weaker than other laptops we’ve reviewed, but you should always keep in mind that the laptop is meant for casual gaming, not games like Tomb Raider or Titanfall 2. It’s a best laptop for Sims 4 and any other low-graphic games. Although its not one of the best gaming laptops, you can still use it for other applications.
Why We Like It – Asus Vivobook K570ZD
The Asus Vivobook K570ZD is as entry level as entry level gaming laptops go, but it should still be strong enough to get the job done. The AMD Quad Core Processor you can run simple games with ease and the 8GB DDR 4 RAM should also allow you to at least run a few windows without slowing down.

Power/Performance
Asus Vivobook K570ZD Gaming Laptops boast an AMD Quad Core Ryzen 5 2500U APU graphics card, 8GB DDR 4 RAM, Radeon Vega 8 + Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050, and 1TB of storage. It won’t be able to run more advanced games, but it should be able to play something like Sims 4 no problem. Battery
The Vivobook K570ZD has a 48eH battery. It’s a smaller, lighter laptop which accounts for the smaller battery size. And in this case it also means smaller battery life. The Vivobook clocks in at about 4-5 hours of life for regular use (internet browsing, text editing, etc…) putting it on par with the MSI GF63 Thin. However, unlike other gaming laptops we’ve seen this one gives us a recharge time which is just under two hours. Actually not bad.

Ports/Expandability
The amount of connectivity options should more than satisfy the occasional gamer or medium-load laptop user. The Vivobook comes with three USB-A ports, one USB type C port, LAN,HDMI 1.4 for video output, and a MicroSD card reader. Like I said, this should suffice for most casual gamers and medium-load laptop users, but see the Acer Predator Helios 300 GTX 1660 TI if you’d like something more robust.
Build Quality
As this is Asus’ most basic line of laptops you shouldn’t be surprised when I tell you the exterior is made of plastic. Still, it has a medium level feel of durability to it. The keyboard, on the other hand, is a joy to type on with the keys having a nice spring to them which allows you to type with more accuracy and less accommodation.
Value
The VivoBook K570ZD has a full HD IPS level screen that is mostly okay for everyday use and multimedia content, such as gaming or video streaming. You’re not going to get newer generation wave two Wi Fi chips with this laptop, but connectivity is still pretty good. And don’t let the price at the top fool you. The price range should be much smaller but third-party sellers are the only options available right now.

What the Asus Vivobook K570ZD lacks in high-end gaming capabilities it makes up for with everyday, modern-use capabilities. It’s got enough ports to serve as a multifunctional, multimedia laptop and a quick charge time so you can get back to your work pronto. Just be sure to take extra-good care of it though as the exterior is made completely out of plastic.
