What could possibly be the best curved monitor or the best business monitor, the Asus Proart PA34VC features specifications that allow the user to use it for things such as digital art projects, multitasking, and more. While it can’t be used for games that require more resources, it still provides high-quality experiences that could potentially make it the best widescreen monitor. Speaking of best, take a look at some of the best computer monitors around.

Why We Like It – Asus ProArt PA34VC Professional Curved Monitor

The Asus ProArt PA34VC Professional Curved Monitor supports over 2 billion colors, has hdr 10 support, and has a big screen to provide vivid visuals. It’s also been equipped with ways to provide decent eye care options for the user to avoid eye strain while still providing high-quality experiences. Just as you’ll experience with this AOC monitor that you can read about in our AOC Aire Pro LED monitor review.

Pros
  • HDR 10 support
  • 60 W power delivery
  • 100 Hz refresh rate
Cons
  • No adaptive sync technology

Performance

The Asus Proart PA34VC monitor has a great refresh rate of 100 Hz and an average response time of 5 ms. It also has a unique feature for its LED screen in the form of Asus Proart calibration technology to help ensure excellent color accuracy with sRGB color standards. The software that works with this technology can also be used for third-party calibrators, but the monitor itself can’t process the Adobe RGB color gamut.

Alternatively, a monitor capable of processing all the colors in the spectrum on 4K may be what you need. If so, then view our write-up of the ASUS TUF VG32VQ 32 curved gaming monitor.

Viewing Angle

Like the Samsung C27HG70 and the AOC Agon AG493UCX, this professional monitor is curved. This aspect makes viewing angles easier to find due to how it changes how light can be reflected on the screen. It can also be adjusted by tilting, changing the height of the stand, and by swiveling. It even features a blue light filter, that minimizes blue light for users that use the computer for long periods of time. This helps prevent eye strain and makes screen viewing even more pleasant.

Durability

This ultra wide monitor features a slim base that’s made of metal that maintains abilities such as height adjustment in addition to tilting and swiveling the screen itself, despite weighing 25.1 Lbs. while looking somewhat deceptively flimsy. There’s more to the appearance that meets the eye, as this metal stand has a 13 inch base to ensure the monitor has stability. The screen itself is never positioned to stick out past the base unless the user has physically adjusted, maintaining its balance through weight distribution.

Port/Expandability

The assortment of ports that this monitor has contains a lesser known type known as the Thunderbolt 3 port, which is essentially a usb c port that has better compatibility with certain Apple products. In addition to the Thunderbolt ports, it has HDMI and DisplayPorts. Monitors such as the Samsung CHG90 49-Inch Curved Ultrawide Monitor don’t have Thunderbolt ports or the regular usb type c ports, meaning that it neither has the compatibility that the Thunderbolts can provide, nor the exact option to acquire high-quality visuals aside from the DisplayPorts.

Value

Despite having an IPS panel on its screen, somehow the Asus is cheaper than the Philips Brilliance 499P9H despite having a few similarities. Both have built-in speakers, high-quality visuals, and great color support. However, the Asus has a significantly smaller screen size, doesn’t have a light sensor or a built-in webcam, and doesn’t contain any adaptive sync technology. In addition to that, Phillips has a wider selection of ports for the user if they feel that they need certain options.

Asus ProArt PA34VC Professional Curved Monitor Wrap Up

Customers have praised this monitor for its versatility. One review has stated that the monitor is quite well-rounded in terms of specifications, not putting too much focus on processing speed, image/color quality, or physical screen quality. It’s essentially a high-quality jack of all trades that’s a master of none if it’s not used for intense gaming.
