When winter ends and you start mulling over the best grills for your outdoor kitchen, you’ll probably want to narrow your search down to the best natural gas grills or the best built-in grills. To this end, the powerful, feature-rich, and easy-to-use Napoleon Prestige PRO 665 should definitely be on your list.

Why We Like It – Napoleon Burners Prestige PRO 665 Natural Gas Grill

The Napoleon Burners Prestige PRO 665 Natural Gas Grill is a fantastic grill and the most powerful Natural Gas Grill we’ve seen so far. Add that it’s also the biggest grill we’ve seen and you have a real winner on your hands. It can reliably cook for your entire family and all of your neighbors!

Pros
  • Two Side Burners and an Infrared Rear Burner
  • Natural Gas and Propane Options
  • Incredibly Feature-Rich
Cons
  • Very Heavy
  • Customer Reviews are Scarce

Power/Heating

The Napoleon 665 has 60,000 BTUs of output from the main burners, a 13,000 BTU side burner, an 18,000 BTU side burner infrared, an 18,000 BTU infrared rotisserie burner, and a dedicated 8,000 BTU integrated smoker tray for an amazing 117,000 total BTUs of power. Of course, not everybody needs this much, so check out the Weber Summit if this is you.

Size/Versatility

The main cooking area on the Napoleon Prestige 665 is 665 square inches. When you add in the side burners and rear burners, that grilling area jumps to 1140 square inches. You’ll be the envy of the neighborhood with a barbecue this big. Further, the Prestige is available in both Natural Gas and Propane. Truly, the product quality is there with the Prestige. Of course, if you don’t need this much space, try the Weber Genesis 310.

Durability

If there’s one drawback to the Prestige, it’s that it weighs a colossal 334 pounds. Not surprising considering how large it is. Check out the Weber Spirit II for something more manageable. The Prestige is constructed from quality stainless steel, cast aluminum, and powder-coated steel. While we would have liked a single-material construction throughout, we won’t deny that the Prestige is built very solid.

Ease of Use

The stainless steel sear plates do well to protect against damage and rust, especially if you know how to use the searing burner correctly. However, they are not porcelain-coated so they will be a little tougher to clean. The lift ease roll top lid slides simply and doesn’t take up too much space on the back of the grill, and the Electric Continuous-Spark Ignition System reliably starts the barbecue every time.

Value

There’s still plenty of product value left to discuss. The integrated cutting board allows for easy prep and the ACCU PROBE Temperature Gauge accurately gauges the heat of your grill for better temperature control. The product’s average rating value over on Amazon is 4.5 stars out of five based on 97 reviews. It’s not a bad score, even if reviews are a little scarce.

Napoleon Burners Prestige PRO 665 Natural Gas Grill Wrap Up

Some people may say that all the features clutter the grill and make it harder to use, but we say different. Even if you have moderate knowledge of grilling, you should be able to find your way around the Prestige. Sure, it may be heavy, but if you already know where you’re going to put it, then this is a complete non-issue.
