Even though many will consider this an average desktop monitor, this may not be the best 27-inch monitor out there, that doesn’t mean you won’t be satisfied. The screen, like the ACER SB270 BBIX 27, is intended for everyday use and its ultra-slim and glossy Acer SB270 BBIX 27 screen design gives it a high end look. A contrast ratio of 1000:1 makes all multimedia pleasing to the eye, while the screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 full HD pixels allows colors to pop. Despite the IPS panel being a few models older, when it comes to available technology, the HP T3M88AAa still offers an impressive viewing screen with 178° viewing angles. Why We Like It – HP Backlit Monitor T3M88AA ABA

The HP T3M88AA offers a stunning full HD display with crisp images and brilliant visuals. The bezel-less display provides the option of an ultra-wide viewing experience with a nearly seamless setup. Whether it’s for casual gaming, or multimedia viewing, this easy-to-connect display is a solid choice.

Pros
  • Ultra-slim design
  • Glossy screen surface
  • Good color quality
Cons
  • No display port
  • Cheaper options available

Performance

While experiencing the HP T3M88AA, you should be impressed with it’s a performance. There are no noticeable delays and the minimal IPS glow results in no stuck or dead pixels. Gamers will be pleased with the 60HZ refresh rate, but the more seasoned consumers might choose something that has little better specs. The response time is 7MS and although that’s a little bit slower than other models, it’s hard to notice any difference. The “My Display Software” feature, that is offered, makes it easy to change color, brightness, contrast, etc.

Design

If you’re looking for the thinnest LCD design by HP, this monitor is in your wheelhouse. The bezel-less screen allows it to flawlessly combine with multiple monitors. The HP T3M88AA offers 2 HDMI ports, VGA port, and it also supports HD CP. There are no DVI, DVD, or USB ports. The back light is perfect for gaming, (comparable to the Viewsonic va2759), online video and movies, or pretty much any casual work the user might be doing. The liquid crystal display provides a brighter light source which will save you on energy. Also, the screen has realistic color and almost no visual bleeding.

Value

Believe it or not, the best value of this monitor is the HP customer service which is based in the United States. But for the screen itself, you may be paying a little bit more for somewhat middle-of-the-road specs. There may be other available alternatives at a better price, but that doesn’t mean you’re not going to be satisfied with the HP t3m88aa. There are plenty of reasons to go with this model since you can be pretty confident you are getting a quality, well working product.

HP Backlit Monitor T3M88AA ABA Wrap Up

If you’re looking for a casual gaming and multimedia monitor, like the BenQ GL2760H, that offers full HD, bright colors, then the HP T3M88AA is for you. Multiple viewing angles help with eyestrain and the customer service can’t be beat. The Ultra Wide screen, with a solid contrast radio, provides vibrant detail from any position and boasts consistent color. You can grab this monitor for your casual gaming needs, or have it sit in your board room for presentations. All in all, although you may find cheaper models with slightly better specs, you can feel comfortable knowing this choice is a fine decision.
