This laptop is powered by a 10th generation Intel Core i5 – 1035G1 processor, which is paired with 8GB DDR4 RAM and a 256GB NVMe SSD. This combination offers good performance as well as long battery life. There’s a 14-inch full HD IPS panel that’s great for media consumption and creativity. The Intel HD graphics does allow for some video editing, but don’t expect to finish a movie on this laptop. The Acer Swift 3 has a slim design that looks industrial, and features an all aluminium construction. It is as light as it looks, weighing in at just 1.2 kilos, and is a great laptop for travellers. The 14-inch display has super slim bezels all around and offers 84 percent screen to body ratio. It also features a well spaced backlit keyboard that has zero flex, a large precision touchpad, and a fingerprint scanner. Value
The Swift 3 is a total value for money considering it has the latest 10th gen Intel Core i5 chipset, and dual-band Wi-Fi 6. That’s not all though, as you also get several connectivity options such as an HDMI port, a USB-C port, an USB 3.1 Gen 1 port, and Thunderbolt 3. The Wi-Fi 6 offers 3 times faster wireless transfer speeds, whereas the 10th gen Intel Core chipset has better performance than the AMD Ryzen variants of the laptop.
