While it’s not featured as the best curved monitor, this hdr gaming monitor offers a great gaming experience. With its color accuracy and the processing power to play games with higher requirements of resources, its components make it possible for the buyer to use it in other ways such as watching movies. See which monitors featured on our list of the best computer monitors.

Why We Like It – Samsung C27HG70

The Samsung C27HG70, also known as the samsung chg70, contains a decent sized screen in the form of a curved monitor. This monitor also has a high refresh rate, a fine assortment of ports, and great color contrast and image depth that makes the colors of the screen more vibrant.

Pros
  • Curved monitor
  • Has a DisplayPort
  • hdr support
Cons
  • No g sync technology

Performance

This samsung monitor has one of the highest refresh rates, as it has a refresh rate of 144 Hz. It also has a great contrast ratio because it has a va panel, and thanks to features such as the amd freesync technology that it contains, it helps give the monitor a higher response time that va panels would otherwise never have. However, it doesn’t have g sync technology to further enhance what this monitor already has to offer.

Viewing angle

It has great viewing angles by containing a curved panel, especially since the screen can be physically adjusted in 4 different ways. The monitor has a NTSC 1976 color gamut standard as well as the ability to support over a billion colors that its screen can display. The LED screen is able to produce vibrant and crisp image quality due to being a quantum dot display. It’s a curved monitor similar to the Samsung CHG90 49-Inch Curved Ultrawide Monitor, but the screen isn’t nearly as wide.

Durability

It’s durability isn’t the best, or at least it’s not durable to the point of withstanding shipping. More than one monitor review has addressed that shipping is risky and that your monitor can get damaged before it’s delivered to the buyer. They also mentioned that if it isn’t damaged upon delivery, then the screen quality would decrease after a few months, noticing screen lines and dead pixels.

Ports/ expandability

This is one of those monitors that actually has audio ports, rather than have a need to be attached to external speakers. In addition to the audio ports are 2 HDMI ports and a DisplayPort. The DisplayPort is how users can make the most of the monitor’s resources. The Audio jacks include an Audio In jack and a headphone jack. It has many more types than the LG 49WL95C-W, which only has USB type c.

Value

While it has one of the more average response times, features such as hdr mode provide ways to obtain much better picture quality as well as keep your monitor’s specifications from becoming outdated. While it’s one of the more average-priced gaming monitors, it doesn’t have as many features as the more expensive Philips Brilliance 499P9H, which has higher specifications in addition to includes a webcam and a multi-view option.

Samsung C27HG70 Wrap Up

If the monitor is damaged when delivered to the customer, there’s an option to get a refund if the buyer tells the seller that it was damaged upon delivery. As parts of the rights reserved for the company, Amazon will test the monitor to verify the accuracy of the customer’s claim. Please be as accurate as possible, as there’s a customer fee if the customer is inaccurate or wrong.
