The SKRT Adult Electric Bike comes with key-start protection, something not normally seen in scooters but a welcome addition against theft, and a six hour charge time to make sure you’re up and going quickly. There’s no hill rating, unfortunately, and there can be some scary moments where smoke is released from the motor when the engine has started. Check out our best electric scooter with seat, best electric scooter for heavy adults, and best electric moped lists for more great options and because the SKRT Electric Scooter is one of the best electric scooters in each of these categories!

Why We Like It – SKRT Electric Scooter

The SKRT Electric Scooter offers an excellent, long range, 18.6 mile battery coupled with a powerful 18 MPH engine. Together, these make it one of the most powerful scooters in its class. Add in LED lights on the front and back, and you have a scooter that goes the extra mile for safety too.

Pros
  • Key Start Protection
  • 6 Hour Charge Time
  • 220 Pound Rider Capacity
Cons
  • No Hill Rating
  • Heavy
  • Sometimes Smoke is Released When the Scooter Starts

Performance

SKRT Electric Scooters boast a 350 watt premium brushless motor which gives it an average speed of 18 MPH which is on the higher-end of scooters in its class. If you do want something just a bit slower, consider the Razor E300s Seated Electric Scooter. No specs of its capacity to go up hills is available, though, and customer reviews on the subject are average at best.

Safety

The scooter comes equipped with LED lights on the front and back of the scooter so people are going to have to try really hard to hit you. It also comes with key-start protection to give it that little extra boost against thieves. Finally, the 8.5” tires grip the ground easily and provide a smooth ride. Battery Life

The SKRT Electric Scooter boasts a reliable battery capacity of 18.6 miles on a single charge which easily beats out other comparable scooters such as the Hiboy S2. The battery is also capable of charging in no time flat, clocking in at just about six hours. This is perfect for both overnight charging and charging throughout the day, depending on your needs.

Durability

The SKRT Scooter comes with a handy foldable design which allows for secure storage. And while the scooter may be a little bit on the heavy side, weighing in at 52 pound which is about 25 pounds heavier than most other portable scooters, the scooter is still built solid with a maximum rider capacity of 220 pounds. Still, we’d like to see them get the weight down so it’s easier to carry on a bus or through campus.

Value

There are plenty of other features the SKRT Electric Scooter has to offer. First, it comes with a bike horn. That’s not usually something you see often and is a welcome addition especially to those who travel a lot at night. But be aware when you start it up as some customers and reviewers have commented that sometimes smoke is released when the motor starts which can be a bit scary, I admit.

SKRT Electric Scooter Wrap Up

With an 18.6 miles long range battery foldable easy carry portable design, the SKRT Electric Scooter is a force to be reckoned with in the scooter world. Albeit it’s a bit heavy at 52 pounds, especially for a portable scooter, but it is able to maintain a 220 pound weight capacity, so this is to be somewhat expected.
