EW 18 Mobility Scooters can reach a maximum speed of 15 MPH which is pretty much on par with other scooters in its class such as the SKRT Electric Scooter. The motor on the EW-18 Scooter is also very quiet compared to other scooters which we’re sure your neighbours will greatly appreciate. The motor itself is a powerful 400 watt, 36 volt brushless hub motor which makes the quietness all the more welcome. Safety
EW 18 Stand n Ride Scooter is safer and more stable owing in large part to its three-wheeled design as opposed to two-wheeled design of other electric scooters. The front wheel is a chunky 16 inch pneumatic tire and the two back wheels are 4 inch pneumatic tires, similar to the Hiboy S2. Unfortunately, there is no word on the braking system so we can’t comment on that. The EW 18 Scooter has a very good range of 20-25 miles on a single battery charge, blowing its main competition out of the water by a couple of miles. And speaking of battery, the scooter only requires you to charge it for 4-6 hours in order to get this amount of range. Truly a marvel of modern scooter engineering. Durability
The EW 18 Scooter is one of the most durable scooters we’ve encountered thanks mainly to its 300 lbs weight capacity. A good 80 pounds more than most other scooters in its category. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find any information about what exactly the scooter is made of, whether it’s aluminum alloy or steel, but we’re hoping it’s steel considering the high weight capacity it carries.
Value
According to customer reviews, the EW 18 Scooter comes with a limited warranty. It’s not a year warranty though, only a 6 month one, but it’s still welcome nonetheless. Other great features include a removable seat so you can decide whether or not you’d like to stand and a foldable design for easy carrying and stowing away in places like cars and planes if you do a lot of travelling.

What the EW 18 Scooter is missing in specs it sure makes up for in other things, mainly an amazing charge time and an incredible battery range. The charge time may not be the lowest we’ve seen, but it’s still high compared to the other scooters. But the mile range is most definitely the highest we’ve come across so far!
