Performance
Hiboy Foldable Electric Scooters are controlled by a single-button and most of its functions, such as the cruise control, are accessed by pressing this button a certain number of times (cruise control is three taps, for example, or five taps switches from km h to mp h). The max speed on the scooter is about 13 MPH, which is pretty average and will get no complaints from us. If you would like faster, try the Segway Ninebot or the Nanrobot D5+ for extra fast speed.
Safety
The Hiboy S2 Scooter has a double braking system just like its cousin, the Hiboy Max Electric Scooter. This means there’s both front and rear wheel brakes for added stopping power. The scooter also features 6.5” solid tires which, to be honest, feels a little small so it’s good they have a double braking system. Battery Life
The Hiboy Scooters Electric features a max range of only about 10.6 miles, which is pretty small compared to other bikes in its class. Consider the Glion Dolly Foldable Lightweight Adult Electric Scooter if you’d like that little extra kick. The charging time on the Hiboy S2 is about 4-6 hours, which isn’t the lowest we’ve seen but also isn’t the highest. If it doesn’t require overnight charging, which it doesn’t, then we’ll consider it a plus.
Durability
The Hiboy S2 Commuting Scooter is well built considering it’s made out of aluminum. However, this only means that it only weighs 21 pounds making it very easy to carry around with you. The scooter also carries an easy to fold design which makes it even easier to carry. How easy the folding is, we don’t know. Where most scooters state it folds in one or three clicks, no product information will tell us how many it takes with this scooter.
Value
Another point added to the safety score of this scooter is the front light, which acts as a headlight, so people can see you in the dark. The LED screen is also bright enough to act as its own headlight, making it near impossible for people not to see you if you’re travelling at night. Hiboy even offers a one year warranty and 24-hour customer service. So there’s a reason to at least try it out too!

What the Hiboy S2 Electric Scooter lacks in tire size and mileage capacity, it makes up for with quick charge time and added lights. The charge time is an average four hours, and the front headlight is accompanied by lights on all sides of the scooter and a bright LED display. Someone is going to have to try really hard to not see you coming.
