The Samsung Customizable Frame TV has astounding 4K resolution, crystal clear sound, and a multitude of ports to make it versatile in whatever it is you need it to do. If I were looking for features on a best TV for bedroom, these features would definitely be at the top of my list. So, when considering the best TVs, remember this option.

Why We Like It – Samsung Frame 43

The Samsung Frame 43 is about as good as a bedroom TV as you’re going to get. It’s mid-sized at 43 inches, but keep in mind that this is your bedroom TV, not a living room TV. It’s 20 watts of power is more than enough sound to fill a bedroom, and it’s also compatible with both Alexa and Bixby!

Pros
  • 4K Resolution
  • Crystal Clear Sound
  • Mode Art Allows for Store Art Quality
Cons
  • Quantum HDR is a Little Dim

Performance/Display/Resolution/Refresh

The Samsung Frame QLED TV boasts an impressive 43 inch screen size which should be large enough for any bedroom. But if you want something smaller, check out the LG 24LJ4540 TV. The Samsung Frame boasts 4K picture quality which is great for watching a movie in bed. But while some quantum dot TV’s have thousands of nits of brightness, the Frame only has a few hundred, making it a little dim by comparison.

Sound

The Samsung Frame QLED Smart TV is made more for looking than for listening. But the sound will still hold up for general use. At 20 watts of power, watching TV in your bedroom shouldn’t be too much of a hassle. Dialogue is crystal clear, which is fantastic, and although you’ll hear some distortion when approaching max volume you’ll just need to remember that this distortion is common throughout all electronics. Plus, how lud do you need a bedroom TV anyway?

Smart Features

The Samsung TV comes with a plethora of smart home options. The Frame is compatible with Alexa, so you can opt for the built-in bixby voice assistant. If you don’t need a voice assistant, the Samsung Electronics UN32N5300AFXZA 32″ 1080p Smart LED TV is another way to go. Of course, you’ll need to connect to wi fi in order to use these features, but that shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Of course, you can also control the Smart TV features with your mobile devices too.

Ports/Expandability

The Frame TV comes with a healthy amount of port selection. Included on the back are four HDMI 2.0 ports (including eARC support), optical, ethernet, CI, satellite, Air/Cable, and ExLink. Two USB ports on the side of the machine round it out. With this much port selection you’ll be able to do a lot with the TV, such as hook up a video game system or even a sound bar.

Value

The included art mode allows you to display art store quality pieces instead of a black screen. Out of the packaging, the included one connect box is fantastic for hiding cables whether you’re using a gap wall mount without stand, a TV stand, or a media unit. The H x W x L of the TV is 38.1 x 21.9 x 1.7 inches, almost the same as the Sony XBR43X800H, so take that into account if you do decide on a media unit!

Samsung Frame 43 Wrap Up

Apart from the dimness of the display, it’s hard to find anything really wrong with the Samsung Frame TV. Admittedly, the dimness may be a turn-off for some, considering it’s not ideal to have to strain when watching television, but a well-lit room should alleviate this problem.
