If you’re in the market looking for the best office printer, or the best inkjet printer, you must’ve come across a lot of expensive options. But to be honest, you don’t really need the highest-end printer just for doing office work. The HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 comes in at a relatively low price point, making it the best printer for small business in this price bracket. It, however, is not one of the best printers for mac, due to its limited functionality with Apple devices.

Why We Like It – HP OfficeJet Pro 9025

The HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 is made for high-volume workloads. With all the features it offers, it’s going to be a worthwhile upgrade for everyone who needs a high-volume printer for their office work. And it’s fairly new as well, so it has many modern features (e.g., smart assistant support) baked into it.

Pros
  • Up to 24 pages per minute printing speed
  • 35-page automatic document feeder
  • Support for two sided printing (duplex printing)
Cons
  • Extremely large and heavy
  • The HP Smart Tasks application is pretty buggy

Speed

Coming in at 24 PPM, the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 is a very speedy printer. The color printing speed is a tad slower but still pretty good at 18 PPM. Print speed is a very important factor for every office printer in order to get a high yield. And the paper tray holds up to 250 sheets.

Print Quality

The HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 supports up to 1200 x 1200 DPI per page. It’s nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. And honestly speaking, you don’t really need much more than even 600 x 600 DPI for office work. But if you really need high-resolution printouts, get the Canon Pixma iP110 instead.

Efficiency

This one printer is very ink efficient, meaning the ink cartridge lifespan is really good on it. And on top of that, you can get genuine HP 962 ink cartridges delivered right to your home with the HP Instant Ink subscription starting at just $0.99/month.

Advanced Features

Being an office printer, obviously, it has a scanner. And it’s a two sided scanner, so it can automatically scan both sides of a document at the same time. And it has duplex printing as well. Also, unlike the Brother MFC-L3770CDW Laser printer (which doesn’t have any app), you can install the HP smart app on your mobile device for mobile printing.

Value

The value proposition of this printer is pretty good. Coming in at just above $320, it’s actually decently priced. A few kinks like the buggy HP Smart Tasks application (not to be confused with the HP Smart App for mobile) can be ironed out with future updates. But, if you only need monochrome printouts for your office work, you can go for the Brother MFCL2750DW, saving almost $100 in the process.

HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 Wrap Up

The HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 offers some unique features that you don’t normally see at its price. Overall, it’s fantastic for everyone looking for a mid-range office printer.
