For those looking for an all-in-one desktop monitor that can handle games, movies and more, the BenQ EW2750ZL might be the choice for you. With an impressive ability to replicate colors, the bezel design ensures nothing gets in the way of what you’re watching. Due to the already included flicker-free technology and low blue light, this monitor makes it to our list of best monitors for eyes and best gaming monitor. For even more options, take a look at our list of the best computer monitors.

Why We Like It – BenQ EW2750ZL

With the screen size of the BenQ EW2750ZL, one would think power consumption would be an issue. Fortunately, that’s not the case with this monitor, the WE2750Zl offers a premium viewing experience all while saving on energy.v

Pros
  • Bezels practically disappear from the screen
  • Included features found in more expensive monitors.
  • Color reproduction is spot on
Cons
  • Unable to adjust the stand
  • No VESA mount support

Performance

Coming with features and specs only available on higher-end models, the BenQ EW2750ZL packs plenty of performance for its price. With a phenomenal 20,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, rest assured you’ll be able to see every color and every detail. Not only that, but the EW2750ZL includes different settings to adjust to different activities. So no matter what you do, games, movies, editing, you’ll always be able to see whatever you do at the highest quality possible. This is a level of performance only seen by the BenQ GW2280 Eye Care, another excellent monitor from the same company.

Viewing Angle

Where the quality begins to take a nosedive, however, is spotted with the stand that comes with the BenQ EW2750ZL. In terms of adjustability, the included stand offers none whatsoever. Features that come standard in monitors such as the Dell UltraSharp U2412M are not found at all with this monitor, and seeing as this is a device that focuses more on play than fun, it seems unusual for it to be unable to be adjusted on a whim. To make matters worse, there is no VESA compatibility, so options are slim to none should you seek out an alternative.

Durability

Fortunately for the sake of the BenQ EW2750ZL’s stand, it feels fairly secure. The upside of not being able to adjust your monitor is that there is less fear of it being able to fall over easily. One would think that with smaller bezels the screen would be easier to damage, but with BenQ’s monitor design you can be rest assured that your purchase will be a good investment that will last for years to come.

Ports/Expandability

The BenQ EW2750ZL includes a VGA, 3.5mm headphone jack and 2 HDMI ports. While the ability to switch between different inputs is a rare one, it’s odd for a monitor focused on media to be missing a USB port. It’s not uncommon for monitors to exclude this feature, like the ViewSonic VA2855SMH, so depending on the buyer, this may or may not be a deal-breaker.

Value

With the number of features and the quality of the ViewSonic VA2855SMH, it’s surprising that the price isn’t that high. It seems though that the included stand might have been sacrificed in order to keep the price down. While it would have been nice to be able to adjust on a whim, having an amazing picture is well worth a mediocre stand.

BenQ EW2750ZL Wrap Up

An excellent performance all the while saving energy, not many monitors can make this claim. The ViewSonic VA2855SMH can do this with ease, thanks to its color replication and settings to ensure you get the best quality. If you can get over the stand which lacks adjustability, this monitor will be the perfect fit.
