Why We Like It – BenQ GW2280 Eye Care

The BenQ GW2280 Eye Care monitor sets out to be the best and stand out when it comes to eye care, and it goes above and beyond. The full HD screen is flicker-free and offers the highest standards when it comes to reducing eye strain. Pair it with the foremost computer monitor glasses and you’ll be set.

Pros
  • Eye care technology ensures maximum productivity
  • 3000:1 contrast ratio
  • Ultra-slim bezel
Cons
  • Port selection is the bare minimum
  • Stand is not fully adjustable like others

Performance

With a 3000:1 contrast ratio and an aspect ratio of 1:78:1, the BenQ GW2280 Eye Care delivers a superior image. Thanks to its BenQ Exclusive Eye Care technology, the BenQ GW2280 Eye Care allows you to be on your computer for hours on end with very little eye strain. Featuring prominent eye care technology such as a low blue light and reduced flicker, BenQ’s monitor adjusts itself to ensure you not only get the best picture quality, but your eyes don’t feel as much strain. This is the same technology you’ll find on Newsoul’s Portable Monitor HDR Eye Care screen. Another close competitor to this level of performance is the Dell UltraSharp U2412M.

Viewing Angle

One thing to note immediately is that the included stand, while being able to tilt and swivel, is unable to adjust its height. Fortunately, the monitor itself is VESA compatible, meaning you can swap out the base stand for one that more fits your needs. If you don’t have a spare VESA compatible mount, the ViewSonic VA2855SMH’s stand is fully adjustable. The BenQ GW2280 Eye Care’s ultra-slim screen offers an impressive view from anywhere you look. With a 178-degree viewing angle, rest assured you’ll always have the best view no matter where you place it.

Durability

Despite the BenQ GW2280 Eye Care having an ultra-slim bezel with full HD, this monitor is both lightweight and durable. With features such as its flicker-free technology, the GW2280 was designed to stay on for extended periods of time. Pair that with its low blue light, and this monitor will easily last for as long as you need it to and beyond.

Ports/Expandability

If there is one criticism to be had about the BenQ GW2280 Eye Care, it’s that the selection of ports seems to be a bit lacking. Outside of the VGA and two HDMI ports, the monitor offers little else. While it does offer two ways to connect to the display, other monitors, such as the ViewSonic VX2457-MHD have a much more diverse port selection that should suit your needs.

Value

Easily the BenQ GW2280 Eye Care’s most valuable asset is its investment into eye care technology. Utilizing both a low blue light mode and flicker-free technology, BenQ went above and beyond for its monitor. With the BenQ exclusive eye-care technology, you can spend as much time as you can without feeling any eye strain.

BenQ GW2280 Eye Care Wrap Up

With an ultra-thin bezel, excellent eye care technology, and VESA compatibility. The BenQ GW2280 Eye Care monitor goes above and beyond to ensure that you don’t have to worry about eye strain. With a 3000:1 contrast ratio, low blue light option and flicker-free technology, this monitor will easily keep you focused and ready for work.
