The Ultrasharp U2415 is a great pick out of the Dell UltraSharp series, and at a 350 nit peak brightness, the screen can be used for viewing multimedia, office work and entry-level design work. Why We Like It – Dell U2415
The Dell Ultrasharp U2415 is a reliable IPS display that comes with a 16:10 aspect ratio, and has a reasonable refresh rate of 60Hz. The monitor also supports almost the entire sRGB color gamut making colors on it appear very crisp. This is to the appreciation of anyone who will use it for color-critical work.

Performance
Despite the Ultrasharp U2415’s serious appearance, it does have some good features that a gamer might warm up to. It’s 60Hz refresh rate may not be as high as that of the Acer SB220Q, but it’s low input lag of 9.1ms makes it fast enough for casual gaming. It’s price range doesn’t really give way to HDR support, though it’s 1000:1 contrast ratio is good for dark blacks and bright whites resulting in a rich picture quality. It has an average response time of 8.3ms, which is fast enough to ensure there’s no motion blur during use.

Design
The Dell U2415 looks quite a lot like the HP VH240a, and it’s serious demeanor allows it to blend very well in a professional setting. The U2415 comes with an ultra thin bezel, and a rectangular stand that offers good support. It also has a wide range of ergonomic adjustments. The display can be tilted and swiveled to a good degree, and its orientation easily switched between portrait and landscape. Its wide range of input ports include one DisplayPort, one Mini DisplayPort, two HDMI ports and five USB ports. The monitor can be VESA mounted onto a wall, and also doesn’t have its own speakers.

Value
The Dell U2415 comes with various added features that make it safe for long term use, but you’ll get a lot more in terms of value from the Sceptre E205W-16003R. The Dell monitor however is flicker free, and has a decent image quality thanks to its 1200p resolution. The monitor also regulates power consumption through its PowerNap feature that puts it to sleep when not in use, or dims it to minimum brightness to conserve power. Its wide 178 degree viewing angles also make for easy screen sharing.

For feature-specific users, the Dell Ultrasharp U2415 doesn’t really invite much interest, but for anyone else looking for reliable office gear at a good budget, it’s definitely worth a shot. The lack of support for HDR content only feels like a nag to users who are used to it, but if not, you won’t even see the difference.
