This BenQ projector fits the bill here with an impressively bright lamp at 5,000 ANSI lumens. So it works well in bright conference rooms. On top of that, you’ll get full HD resolution with 1920 x 1080 total pixels. These two features combined are enough for a great overall experience.

The BenQ MH760 also includes comprehensive connectivity and usability options. It features remote network control via LAN systems like Crestron and PJ-Link. • Low brightness at 120 lumens
  • Low resolution at 800 x 480 pixels

[/su_list][/su_box][/su_column]
[/su_row]

The Asus ZenBeam E1 brings portability to the business projector category. This is a pocket-sized projector that works well for traveling sales team members and other traveling business people. Measuring in at just 4.3 x 3.2 x 1.14 inches in size, this projector can go with you virtually anywhere. And don’t let its mini size fool you. The ZenBeam E1 packs plenty of punch in spite of its size. It only offers an 800 x 480 native resolution and 120 ANSI lumens of light output. This is to be expected with such a compact business projector, but the projector still performs well in spite of the lower specs.

You might be worried about decreased durability with the smaller size, but there’s no need for any of that worry here. The Asus ZenBeam is built well enough to handle being packed around and constantly handled. It features a handy lens cover so your lens and bulb stay protected during travel. It also provides auto keystone correction and built-in speakers for an incredibly easy installation process. The ZenBeam also features a powerful, 6000 mAh battery that gives up to five hours of battery life on a single charge. • Remote control could be better

[/su_list][/su_box][/su_column]
[/su_row]

Like the many top-rated Optoma projectors, the Optoma EH500 is the best 1080p business projector available today, and as soon as you turn it on to give your first presentation, you’ll immediately notice just how crisp and clear the picture quality is. With full HD resolution, the Optoma EH500 is not only good for just business presentations. It’s also good for watching video content. In fact, this would make for an excellent projector for use in a home theater or a church, where large gatherings take place. The colors are accurate, bright, and vivid, as well.

This Optoma business projector is also designed with power users in mind. It features extensive connectivity options, including two VGA ports, two HDMI ports, VGA Out, DisplayPort, S-Video port, composite video port, and RS-232C and RJ45 ports. With this kind of connectivity, you can connect any external media device to the EH500 without worrying about running out of space. You can even create wireless connectivity with an external wireless adapter, also sold by Optoma. The projector’s overall build quality is good, too. It has a long lamp life and a durable outer casing. The only areas we would improve are the remote control, which is a little clunky, and the onboard audio, which isn’t loud enough on its own. For an immersive experience in terms of audio, check out any of the best projectors on the market today.

 #6  ViewSonic PA503S Business Projector

Award: BEST FOR DAYLIGHT VIEWING

WHY WE LIKE IT: With 3,800 lumens of light output at an extra affordable price, this business projector is best for presentations in bright rooms. Plus, it’s incredibly easy to set up and offers a lamp life of around 15,000 hours for long-lasting performance.

  • Internal speakers are too quiet
  • No wireless connectivity options

[/su_list][/su_box][/su_column]
[/su_row]

The ViewSonic PA503S is a powerful business projector that focuses on creating high-quality images at a bright light output level. The biggest selling point of the ViewSonic is the 3,800 ANSI lumens its lamp is capable of producing. While this isn’t as bright as some other projectors you can buy, it’s perfect for use in rooms with the lights on. This high level of brightness gives you enough performance so that colors stay vivid and accurate, and everyone in the room will be able to see everything on the screen clearly.

The PA503S doesn’t feature full HD resolution. Instead, it opts for SVGA resolution, which is 800 x 600 pixels. If you do choose to feature video during your presentations, you may not get the level of detail you’re hoping for. We recommend sticking to PowerPoint presentations only with this business projector. We were really impressed by ViewSonic’s plug-and-play setup process. It really is as easy as powering the device on, plugging in your video source, and going from there. The PA503S features vertical keystone correction and 1.1x optical zoom for an even more precise picture. If you have audio in your presentation, be aware that the speakers aren’t as powerful as other options, so you may need external audio. And to enjoy an outdoor viewing party, invest in the best outdoor projector that has speakers good enough to use on their own so you won’t need to connect an external audio solution.

 #7  Optoma S334e Business Projector

Award: BEST FOR SMALL CONFERENCE AREAS

WHY WE LIKE IT: If you need a compact, bright, and colorful business projector for the smaller conference rooms in your office, then this is an excellent option. With 3,800 lumens of brightness and 22,000:1 dynamic contrast, it can even be used in daylight without a problem.

  • 800 x 600-pixel resolution
  • Focus adjustment is very sensitive

[/su_list][/su_box][/su_column]
[/su_row]

The Optoma S334e is a powerful business projector that works well in small- to mid-sized conference rooms. As powerful as it is, it could be considered a fine projector for a living room, too. It can project images up to 120 inches in size from corner to corner, as long as it has at least 15 feet between the projector and the projector screen. You can achieve smaller display sizes when you place the projector closer to the screen. The S334e features a bright, long-lasting bulb with 3,800 ANSI lumens of light output and up to 15,000 hours of total run time.

The S334e also performs well when it comes to picture quality and color accuracy, even in bright conference rooms. This compact projector only gives you SVGA resolution, which is 800 x 600 pixels, which means it wouldn’t work well as a home theater projector. However, this is perfect for displaying presentations, especially in close quarters. You’ll hardly notice the low resolution on things like PowerPoint presentations. However, if you want to watch movies on this projector, you will notice the difference. The S334e features a compact design that can fit well mounted to the ceiling or on a tabletop, without taking up too much room. Plus, installation is made easy with the included vertical keystone correction and 1.1x optical zoom, although the lens focus is a little sensitive and may take you a couple of tries to get it right. And if you’re looking for something a bit more budget-friendly, consider the best cheap projector

 #8  Okcoo Business Projector

We’re sorry, this product is temporarily out of stock

Award: BEST ON A BUDGET

WHY WE LIKE IT: If you need an affordable business projector that still performs well in most circumstances, then you can’t pass up this option. With 6,500 lumens of brightness, full HD resolution, and versatile installation options, this projector works well in both your office and your home theater.

  • Colors are somewhat lacking in tone
  • A bit larger than other projectors

[/su_list][/su_box][/su_column]
[/su_row]

The Okcoo is one of the best cheap projectors you can buy for business purposes on today’s market. Surprisingly, the Ockoo business projector doesn’t even need to sacrifice a ton of functionality in order to give you that affordability, either. In fact, it outperforms many other projectors in this category. When it comes to resolution and picture quality, you get a full HD display. The colors are bright, as well, but they do lack some of the tone and definition you get with other business projectors.

The best feature of the Ockoo is its brightness output. The powerful lamp can produce up to 6,500 lumens of brightness, which is more than enough for any situation, even for daylight viewing. We were also impressed by the projector’s design quality. It’s durable if a little bulkier than other options. It’s also easy to get set up and running in no time. The Okcoo features 15-degree keystone correction and -75% optical zoom so you can get your image just right for your presentations. The projector is also quiet, even when the cooling fan kicks in, thanks to its advanced cooling system that moves air throughout the entire system for comprehensive cooling power. Compare this model to the best 4K projector that features an awesome 1000,000:1 contrast ratio which keeps bright screens clear and dark screens detailed.

 #9  Optoma X341 Business Projector

Award: BEST QUALITY

WHY WE LIKE IT: This business projector is built extremely well and offers a ton of additional functionality for a more comprehensive presentation solution. With 3D compatibility, adjustable gamma output, and lots of brightness, this projector works well in a wide variety of scenarios.

  • Low resolution is disappointing
  • Limited audio out functionality

[/su_list][/su_box][/su_column]
[/su_row]

The Optoma X341 earns the Best Quality award because of its innovative and user-friendly design. Of course, the business projector performs all of the core functions you should come to expect from such a product. It can project images onto your office wall or onto a projector screen with ease. You won’t get full HD resolution, but the XGA resolution provides enough clarity for any presentation. The X341 also provides plenty of connectivity so you can use it with your laptop or Blu-Ray player. If you’re not sure how to connect your laptop to your projector using HMDI, our resource article has more info.

All in all, though, the Optoma X341 excels when it comes to its extra features and functionality. For starters, it’s 3D compatible, so if you like 3D movies you’ll love using this projector. It creates pretty accurate colors overall, but if you encounter a wall or projector screen that is not white, the X341 features gamma output adjustability so you can shift your colors so they still show up. Finally, the Optoma business projector gives you edge masking, so you’ll always have a smooth frame surrounding your display. Compare that to the versatility found on the best long throw projector.

 #10  Optoma ML750 Business Projector

Award: BEST COMPACT DESIGN

WHY WE LIKE IT: This business projector offers the best functionality when it comes to portability in a compact package. It’s small enough to fit into the palm of your hand, yet still offers 1280 x 800 native resolution and extra-versatile connectivity options, including wireless.

  • Low brightness at 700 ANSI lumens
  • Minimal picture adjustability

[/su_list][/su_box][/su_column]
[/su_row]

When you first get a look at the Optoma ML750, you’ll likely think it’s impossible that such a small business projector could perform as well as this one does. Fortunately for you, though, this mini projector does just that. It features an impressive resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, which is surprising for such a small projector. It can also produce upwards of 700 ANSI lumens of brightness, which isn’t as much as larger projectors, but that’s to be expected.

Of course, the biggest selling point of the Optoma ML750 is its size. Measuring in at just 4 x 4 x 1.5 inches, the ML750 can fit right in your palm and travel with you anywhere. Plus, it doesn’t sacrifice much in the way of connectivity either. The mini business projector features a physical connection via HDMI input and a wireless connection via HD Cast Pro. The ML750 even features a built-in media reader so you can even load your presentation directly onto the projector. Of course, its small size does equate to some sacrifices. The biggest one here is the fact that you get very little in the way of picture adjustability. You have a lens focus slider on this pico projector, but that’s about it. What may interest you further is the best 3D projector with the best incredibly detailed picture that offers both 4K ultra HD resolution and 1080p resolution when in 3D mode.

How We Decided

Finding the best business projectors can be a process, but our research and analysis identified several key components that you need to consider before clicking that buy button. To begin our ranking process, we first focused on finding projectors with enough brightness to work in both well-lit rooms and those with moderate light ambiance. It’s rare that you’ll be sitting in a completely dark room at work, so we preferred options with at least 3,000 ANSI lumens of light output. There are a few above that don’t feature this much brightness, but they are often pocket-sized and travel projectors. In these cases, lower brightness is acceptable since you trade it for more portability.

Next, we scored each projector based on its picture quality. Business projectors aren’t known for their full HD or 4K projector resolution, so we didn’t score too harshly for less-than-HD resolution. We preferred options with accurate colors, though, and so awarded bonus points for projectors that required minimal picture adjustments to create a true-to-life image. We also gave more points to options with gamma output adjustability, which allows you to adjust color tones so they can show up on walls that aren’t white.

Finally, we looked at connectivity and design quality. The best business projectors should be able to connect to nearly any device in the office, including laptops, desktop computers, tablets, and smartphones. We scored projectors higher if they provided network connectivity for larger offices. We also awarded bonus points for projectors with wireless connectivity, which allows you to stream content directly from your mobile device.

Best Business Projector Buyer’s Guide

The Most Important Features to Consider

  1. Brightness
A business projector’s light output, or brightness, is measured in ANSI lumens. There are a wide variety of different brightness ratings out there, and what you need for your business will vary depending on the specific application of the projector. For example, if you’re planning on using the projector in a large room with over 100 people under bright lights, you’ll want a projector that can output at least 6,000 ANSI lumens. However, most businesses will only need something in the 2,000 to 3,500 lumens range.
  2. Resolution
Most projectors measure their overall resolution using several different acronyms:

    • HD: Also known as “high definition,” this resolution offers 1920 x 1080 pixels. It’s best used for presentations that feature a lot of graphics and videos.
    • XGA: This resolution offers 1024 x 768 pixels. It’s best used for laptops that aren’t widescreen.
    • WXGA: This resolution offers 1280 x 800 pixels, and it’s the most popular and common resolution you’ll see for business projectors. This is best used for widescreen laptops.
    • WUXGA: This resolution offers 1920 x 1200 pixels. Another great option for graphics- and video-heavy office presentations.
  3. Connectivity
In today’s modern office setting, employees are working from smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers. This is why it’s so important for your business projector to include a variety of different connectivity options. At the very least, we recommend purchasing an option with HDMI cable inputs. However, you should also look for VGA and USB ports for even greater flexibility. Some video projectors even allow you to screencast from smartphones and tablets wirelessly.
  4. Portability
Portability is becoming more important every day for business projectors. If you’re constantly taking your projector with you to different conference rooms or different office buildings entirely, then portability is a must-have. Consider projectors that are lightweight and compact so you can easily fit them in a bag with your other necessary items.

Business Projector FAQs

How do I choose a projector for my business?

To find the best projector for your business, you’ll first need to determine what exactly you need from your projector. Is this going to be fixed in a conference room or moved around the entire office? Are you going to be using it in a bright, well-lit room or in the dark? The answers to all of these questions determine what features you need. After you know what you need, find a projector that matches those requirements in brightness, resolution, and portability.

What is the best quality projector?

The best quality projector is the one that meets and fulfills all of your needs. In general, though, you should look for high brightness, excellent picture quality, and good design quality so you get the longest-lasting product that can also work in a wide variety of different situations.

How many lumens do you need for a good projector?

For business applications, it’s best to find a projector that offers a higher amount of light output. We recommend purchasing a projector with at least 2,500 ANSI lumens but suggest going higher than that if you want the best performance.

What is the best projector for PowerPoint presentations?

The best projector for PowerPoint presentations combines resolution with color accuracy and brightness. Resolution is the most important here, especially as it pertains to reproducing text in a crisp, detailed manner.
