Performance & Resolution
This wifi projector has a projector screen included. Outdoor movie projector supports projections up to 196.8 inches (although it’s ideal between 32’’-176’’) at resolutions up to 1920x1080p. Its native resolution is 720p, and it projects within the recommended sizes between 1.5m to 5m away from the backdrop (for a 4K experience check out the BenQ TK850 PROJECTOR!). These mini projectors have built-in speakers & also include a dual-fan cooling system to help keep the projector from overheating (although it is fairly loud).
Brightness & Lumens
The M10 has a fairly bright projection, at 5500 lux. Jinhoo claims the LED light inside the device will last up to 55,000 hours, so the rest of the projector will most likely fail before the light gives out. With a contrast ratio of 2000:1, it’s not the best we’ve seen, but should be more than enough for casual viewing in a dark room. However, since the brightness of this projector isn’t extremely high, be aware that you will get less-than-desired projection quality in brightly lit rooms.
Adjustability & Viewing Angle
You have a variety of settings you can change on this device (image mode, aspect ratio, brightness, contrast, color, & sharpness). To adjust the projection size, simply move the projector closer or farther away from the screen. At a distance of 1.5m to 5m the M10 will project images from 32” to 176” (the BenQ HT2050A 1080p DLP Projector can project up to 300 inches). A small stand can be screwed in or out on the bottom to adjust the angle, and the angle adjusted (up to 15°) with the keystone.
Durability
Along with the projector, you get a variety of cleaning clothes and some Q-tips to help maintain your projector. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with a lens cover, so you may want to invest in one or make your own. The shell is plastic, which should be durable enough for normal use. According to Jinhoo, the lens in the projector should last up to 55,000 hours. There are no extra features like shock-resistance or scratch-resistance, but we wouldn’t expect those on a budget model anyway.
Value
This is a pretty good projector for the money. It is capable of projecting full HD movies, comes with a 100-inch projector screen, an RCA to 3.5mm audio cable, and has free shipping all for the low price of $129.99 (a slightly cheaper option is the TMY V08 720P Native Projector and more expensive option is the Bluetooth Native 1080p Projector ). There isn’t a warranty offered, but you can buy protection plans for the device. You most likely won’t need them though, because the M10 scores 4.4 out of 5-stars based on 4,862 Amazon reviews.
