Performance

The Razer DeathAdder Elite Gaming Mouse performs well in the most intense of gaming moments, from MOBA to FPS. It’s thanks to its incredibly wide DPI range, adjustable with DPI buttons near the scroll wheel. The gaming mouse has DPI settings that allow for incremental adjustments of one, a maximum setting of 16,000, or as low as 100 DPI. This means you can get a highly personalized setting that works for you.

With the Razer DeathAdder Elite gaming mouse being wired, click latency is almost non-existent. As soon as you press a button, there’s about a 17ms click latency. In other words, you won’t notice it unless you use software. Inside the DeathAdder mouse is a 5G optical sensor Razer helped design alongside Pixart that helps maintain accurate tracking when you move the mouse suddenly in one direction, handling up to 50 times the force of gravity.”

Design

It looks like a gaming mouse without being weirdly futuristic. The Razer DeathAdder Elite gaming mouse has a very typical Razer design, and shares many of its design choices of previous Razer mice: smooth curves void of any sharp angles. There’s a small dip starting at the top half of both mouse buttons that allow for your fingers to rest. The thumb rests comfortably near two additional side buttons—all of which are programmable. Like most other Razer mice, the Razer DeathAdder Elite uses a sleek and simple design with a bold color scheme that may earn you many compliments from friends and onlookers. However, it’s a rather long gaming mouse—nearly 5-inches in length—that could make it harder for smaller hands to use, unless you prefer a palm grip.

The matte black finish hasn’t lost its charm, being right at home next to a pair of ASTRO Gaming A50 headset, and a comfy Vertagear S-Line SL4000 gaming chair. The small amount of Razer Chroma RGB lighting is just right without being ridiculous, which you’ll find shining through the Razer logo and mouse wheel, and downloadable Razer Synapse Software can alter said RGB coloring for more personalization.”

Value

Given how well the DeathAdder Elite Razer is designed without being obnoxious with Chroma lighting, its superb performance, and pricing, these are some of the best gaming mice out there—especially for a budget build. Its curvy design allows for a comfortable grip, and has quite a bit of weight to it. This elite gaming mouse’s DPI buttons and ridged scroll wheel feel sturdy and durable as well, in contrast to gaming mice with a thin, hollow feel or awkward mouse wheel and side buttons. The Razer DeathAdder Elite gaming mouse definitely doesn’t feel cheap.

And to sweeten the deal, the DeathAdder Elite Razer comes in both right-handed and left-handed models, and even a few special editions that change its finish.”

Razer Deathadder Elite gaming mouse Wrap Up

The DeathAdder Elite Razer gaming mouse is by far the best mouse any gamer should consider, and may earn its place among the best gaming gear to have. Works incredibly well for the most stressful of gaming experiences, and looks good doing it, too. Though you have to navigate through the Razer Synapse software to adjust the chroma lighting, the visually appealing effect is worth it. Your gaming set up will be nicely complemented by the DeathAdder mouse and its classy Razer Chroma RGB lighting. Plus with the 16,000 optical sensors Razer has produced an impressive mouse that can be fully customized through programmable buttons and DPI settings. With a fully-customizable mouse, you can game and perform your best work with the best mouse for you. It was designed for long gaming sessions with its curved sections, and even gives you a few programmable buttons. Where it falls short is being a bit too long, making it harder to use with small hands.
