Sometimes a gust of cool air from a nearby oscillating fan is all you need to keep cool—a little fan that puts out the right amount of power. It might have a tilt-adjustable head and perhaps a remote control. Such features must come from a Holmes Lil’ Blizzard Performance Fan, a small fan that produces powerful airflow, making it the best fan for small offices and rooms.

Why We Like It – Holmes Lil’ Blizzard Performance Table Fan

The kind of fan that keeps you cool inside your small cubicle or office. It oscillates for wider coverage while being easy to clean thanks to a removable grill.

Performance

The Holmes Lil Blizzard Oscillating Table Fan did wonders in smaller rooms, like a small bedroom or office space. It doesn’t have the kind of power the Lasko T42950 or the Honeywell double-blad fan has to cool a large room. Its limitations are rooms up to 155 sq. ft. Anything bigger than that, or close, and you’ll start to feel its performance dwindle.

It still managed to be a great fan with two powerful speed settings. Airflow was almost always consistent, though having four or as many as eight like the Honeywell QuietSet has, would’ve been ideal. Other similar small units include the Honeywell HTF090B fan, Honeywell HT900E, and ComLife F170 Clip-On stroller fan.

Design

Much of Holmes Lil’ Blizzard Performance Table Fan’s success definitely comes from its design more than its performance. It has an adjustable tilt head and oscillation, so air is always blowing in a wide area (if you want). It’s also very small and compact, sitting fairly nicely on a desk.

Of course, since this Holmes fan uses blades to produce an airflow they’re bound to get really dusty. You might be worried that you can’t clean them. Fear not! The Holmes Lil’ Blizzard Performance Table Fan has a removable grill for an easy clean. Simply wipe the blades down and you’re good to go. Value

The Holmes Lil’ Blizzard Performance Table Fan is your average run-of-the-mill desk fan. It isn’t the most powerful, nor is it feature-rich. And its design does nothing but blow air around. What it does have is decent airflow and a cheap price. If you don’t want to spend money on a Vornado 660 Large Whole Room Air Circulator Fan—which we highly suggest—then the Blizzard Performance Table Fan is a good budget option. It won’t impress you but it will, at the very least, keep you cool in your office or room.

Holmes Lil’ Blizzard Performance Table Fan Wrap Up

The Holmes Lil’ Blizzard Performance Table Fan’s average performance fits perfectly in small spaces: a small bedroom, cubicle, or office. It oscillates for wider coverage and can fit on your desk. After a while, when it collects dust, you can easily remove the grill for cleanup. It doesn’t impress but it has a cheap price tag and does well enough to keep you cool.
