When shopping for the best stroller fan, you must’ve come around tiny flimsy battery-powered fans that only keep your infants cool, but barely. If you use those same good fans to cool yourself once in a while, you must be frustrated. Well then, fret not. HJIAN 5 is perfect for your needs.

Why We Like It – HJIAN 5

A stroller fan with a fan clip is generally too small to double as a portable fan for an adult. The HJIAN 5, as the name suggests, is 5 inches lengthwise, which is pretty big for a battery-operated fan. It’s a great mini desk fan to consider buying with step-less speed controls and a big and well-built foam-padded clip. For a similar fan, you might like the Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link HP02.

Performance/Power

The HJIAN 5 performs excellently, and that is not just due to its size. The actual fan inside is actually quite small. But the DC motor is very high quality, and the covering grills are very well designed that don’t restrict airflow and, at the same time, prevent your curious children from sticking their fingers in. The step-less sliding wheel is also a nice add-on to adjust wind speeds.

Durability/Build

Unlike the Hon Guan 6 Inches Exhaust Fan, the entire outside of the fan is made of glossy plastic. So that is definitely going to get scratched up over time. But other than that, there’s no considerable design flaw on this fan where it would fail after a while. So you should be able to run it for years to come.

Noise/Sound Level

For a mini fan, the HJIAN 5 is pretty big, as mentioned before. So the motor and the fan itself have to do less work to move the same amount of air as a smaller fan. It’s whisper-quiet no matter how high of a setting you chose on the slider. Another very quiet fan you can take a look at is the BLUBOON Clip-On Fan.

Versatility/Modern Features

This table fan has a clamp fan-type foam padding inside the clip. So you can use it in different places (e.g., as a vehicle-mounted fan). The only problem with this fan is that the included rechargeable battery is too small to run this sizable portable fan for hours. At max, it lasts up to 3 hours. Go for the OPOLAR Clip Fan to get the best battery life. This table fan has a clamp fan-type foam padding inside the clip. So you can use it in different places (e.g., as a vehicle-mounted fan). Value

Battery-operated clip fans are usually tiny with limitations. But the HJIAN 5 gives you flexibility due to its large size at a cheaper price. And even though the rechargeable battery isn’t large enough, at least it and a micro USB cable are included. At its price, it’s basically a steal.

HJIAN 5 Wrap Up

If you are looking for an excellent stroller fan, you can’t go wrong with the HJIAN 5. It has the performance and durability of a much costlier fan while coming in at a lower price. If you have a bit more budget, go for the Amacool Tripod Stroller Fan instead.
