Why We Like It – B-Air Firtana-20X
The B Air Firtana is probably one of the only multi-purpose high-velocity floor fans that look good indoors. And it performs very well too, even though the build quality is a bit of a hit or miss.

Performance/Power
Well, being a high-velocity floor fan, it should come as no surprise that this fan performs extremely well. There are three speed settings as usual that you can control using a knob (that doubles as a power button). And it can deliver up to 4650 CFM airflow, which is incredible for its price. It also keeps the air circulating in the room, keeping the air quality high. However, you can also check out the Lasko 2265QM if you have room for it.
Durability/Build
The parts accessories of this fan are decently built, but not the fan itself. The paint finish chips off and rusts pretty easily. And the motor is slightly exposed, and unless you open up the fan regularly using power tools and clean it, it will go bad within a few years. And that is not good for a fan above $50 at all. The Maxx Air Wall Mount Fan has the best build quality if you have a few more bucks to shell out.
Noise/Sound Level
The only thing keeping this fan away from the best home floor fan crown is its noise level. It records above 70 decibels at its lowest speed level. Increase the speed any higher, and it’s going to sound like a jet engine is about to take off. It’s not that much better than the Bionaire Thin Window Fan, which is incredibly loud.
Versatility/Modern Features
Even though this fan is a bit cheaper compared to its competitor’s offerings, it’s jam-packed with convenient features. Along with the wall mount mode, it also has 180-degree vertical rotation for adjustment purposes. But if you don’t have room for any of that, the Westinghouse ceiling fans might be the best choice.
Value
The B-Air Firtana-20X offers an insanely good value for money proposition. It might not have a fancy remote control or ambient heating cooling air feature. But it does have all the essential features a professional needs.
