Performance
The Anker SoundCore’s Bluetooth range of up to 60 feet doesn’t match that of the Bose Soundlink Revolve, and it allows you to move with your music a good distance away from the source, though it might start stuttering if you have obstructions on your path. The speaker has two 3-watt speakers that are loud enough for something like an indoor party, and in terms of sound quality, the Anker SoundCore features a spiral bass port that helps ‘fire’ sound out for increased audibility. The speaker also offers stereo sound, though it may earn substantial criticism due to its lack of WiFi support. Design
The Anker SoundCore speaker measures 6.5 x 1.8 x 2.1 inches, and is quite lightweight at 12.6 ounces (0.7lbs). Unlike the Grace Digital Mondo+, it bears a minimalist design and comes in blue, red, or black colors, which is great for a high-end mini Bluetooth speaker. It’s also made of plastic, with a speaker at the front that’s covered in a grille. The UE Boom 3 looks a lot better than it, but the 15-hour battery life is no match for the SoundCore. On its topside, you’ll find the volume, play, pause, Bluetooth pairing, and power button. It also has a small LED light on the speaker’s front that flashes when it’s pairing, or red when the battery is low. Value
Despite its low price range, the Anker SoundCore does provide great sound through its two speakers. It might not be the best option for outdoor use since its durability is also not as high as that of the JBL Charge 4, but it is compact and easy to move around with. It’ll also allow you to play music from your favorite streaming apps without an issue.
