Have you ever been out shopping for outdoor speakers and became dismayed because some of them look like they’ll break at the slightest provocation? You won’t get this feeling with the Bugani M83 Bluetooth speaker. It’s one of the best Bluetooth speakers simply because of its large and rugged design. And let’s not forget about how largeness, in this case, also translates into loudness.

Why We Like It – Bugani M83

Despite its large size, bulky appearance, and overall heaviness, the Bugani M83 isn’t like most speakers, Bluetooth or not, that you want to miss out on. Its versatility, amazing sound quality, great bass, fantastic mids, and durable design are all things you should be looking out for in a speaker.

Pros
  • Whopping 40-hour battery life
  • Highly rugged and endurable
  • Bluetooth 5.0
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Performance

The battery life on the Bugani Bluetooth Speaker clocks in at a whopping 40 hours which is well above the average 12-hour battery life of most portable Bluetooth speakers. The Bugani M83 Bluetooth speaker is big and bulky. It may not be ideal, but this means it also boasts impressive sound quality and booming bass. It houses 40 watts of power on its two main drivers and is by far one of the loudest outdoor Bluetooth speakers. If room-filling sound quality is your thing you should also consider the JBL Charge 4 which is also a slightly more portable Bluetooth speaker. But, for a fully portable speaker, you’ll want the JBL Clip 3. Design

Just like the Edifier Prisma 2.1 audio system, the first thing you notice about the Bugani M83 Bluetooth speaker is just how big it is. And this bulkiness does translate to a larger weight which further translates to it being a difficult portable Bluetooth speaker to lug around. But it does come with a carrying handle to make transport easier. It can be used as both an indoor and outdoor Bluetooth speaker, which is nice, and its rugged build means it can survive a hit or two and keep on plucking away. However, if you do consider it a little too bulky, please try the Bose Soundlink Color II, which is much more portable and lightweight. In case you are a fan of Braven speakers, the outdoor speaker series that is waterproof, shockproof, and dustproof is discussed in our Braven Ready Elite review.

Value

Unlike the DC7BT Bluetooth docking station/receiver, the Bugani M83 has the best Bluetooth connection, Bluetooth 5.0, to ensure instant pairing and never-dropped connections. It also comes with a micro USB cable, if you didn’t have one already, because it uses micro USB charging. The Bugani M83 wireless stereo also has an IPX5 water-resistance rating. A trait shared with the Oontz Angle 3 Bluetooth speaker. They are both considered some of the best Bluetooth speakers on the market today, and while the Oontz is a little more portable, the Bugani can take a beating. So take your pick as to what’s more important to you.

Bugani M83 Wrap Up

Built solid, the Bugani M83 Bluetooth Speaker can survive being at the poolside getting splashed a bit or on a camping trip with your friends where it might accidentally get kicked or struck by a branch (hey, it’s the woods). But is it really worth trading endurance, loudness, and sound quality for something lighter and more portable?
