It has a soft-grip handle that is comfortable in your hand, a serrated blade to cut into the avocado, a twist-to-remove pitter, and a 6-fan blade to easily cut up the avocado. Performance
This tool works as expected. The OXO Good Grips 3-in-1 Avocado Slicer clone easily cuts down to the pit so you can split the avocado in half without risking cutting your hand (the blade is not made of metal). This product features a twist-to-remove pitter in the center, which uses its steel teeth to bite into & remove the pit. After the pit is removed this tool quickly cuts the remaining fruit into seven even slices, which you can either eat by themselves or use in another dish (such as guacamole!).
Design
Unlike the Amco 2-in-1 Avocado Slicer, this product does not have an original design. At all. It looks nearly identical to many other avocado multi-tools on the market, starting with the fact that it is green. The safe-to-use (and serrated) blade is placed at the top of this tool. Below the blade is the pit remover, which is just an indented hole with three steel pieces designed to grab and twist the pit out of the avocado. Beneath the standard “non-slip grip” handle is the avocado slicer. This one is a fan blade with six blades.
Value
Price is the redeeming factor for this multi-tool. This West Ox product costs about half the price of the Joseph GoAvocado 3-in-1 Avocado Slicer, though admittedly it doesn’t have a foldable knife. There is nothing original about the design, but this generic product does at least include the standard dishwasher-safe material for the slicer and knife; it also has a stainless steel pitter. You can find nearly exact copies of this tool for double the price or more, so it’s definitely a good deal if you don’t mind a generic tool.

This avocado tool by West Ox gets the job done, that’s it. It doesn’t get any points for originality and doesn’t have a particularly memorable performance, but it’s cheap. Price is the only selling point that it has going for it, but that’s enough. This tool is perfect for someone who doesn’t care about brand names and just wants to have an easier time preparing avocados for cheap.
