Performance
This tool works decently, although it doesn’t perform as well as the Joseph GoAvocado 3-in-1 Avocado Slicer, which slices avocados into six even slices. In fact, this tool cuts, pits… peeled is as far as you’re going to get! There isn’t a built-in fan slicer so don’t expect to make even fruit cuts with the serrated blade. Essentially you can use this tool to remove the skin and the pit from an avocado, but make sure to have another tool available if you want perfect evenly sliced avocado.

Like the Amco 2-in-1 Avocado Slicer, this avocado cutter is made of stainless steel. This tool for avocado fruit cuts, pits (peeled is as far as you can get), then lets you down because it doesn’t have a multi-fan slicer. You can slice the avocado up using the serrated blade but the pieces will only be as even as you can make them. The “pit remover” is simply a serrated tip that is used to stab and pry the pit out of the fruit. You can use the body of the tool to scoop the fruit out of the skin.

This product is an OK buy, but for only $3 more you can get our #1 pick, the OXO Good Grips 3-in-1 Avocado Slicer. If you decide to save three dollars then you are left with a tool that can cut the skin, remove the pit, and scoop the fruit out of the skin but lacks a dedicated slicer to evenly cut the avocado. Instead, you will have to do your best with the serrated blade to cut the fruit into even slices. This tool is basically a teardrop-shaped piece of steel with serrated edges rather than a true multi-tool.
