Performance (Display/Resolution/Refresh)
The Vizio P Series Quantum X has a 65″ screen (the Samsung NU6900 55 also has a 65” model available!). The TV uses Quantum Color and Dolby Vision HDR, combined with 384 local dimming zones, to provide the deepest black levels possible, making it one of the best tv monitor sets available. The screen of this P Series Quantum 4K TV can also go extremely bright, with a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits, and operates at a 240Hz effective refresh rate, which provides a smooth image with virtually no blurring (also making it the best tv for sports!).

Sound
You have a couple of different audio options on this TV: a digital optical output, an RCA audio output, and HDMI ARC. Sadly, it doesn’t have a headphone jack or Bluetooth so that will somewhat limit your audio options. There was no information on the performance of the internal speakers, so we’re going to recommend you go with a soundbar. This should give you superior sound quality anyway, as internal speakers are usually pretty lackluster. The Vizio PX65 G1 works with Apple Airplay 2 and Chromecast, so it should be pretty easy to get music to play on this TV.
Smart Features
This member of the P Series, the PX65 G1, is great for streaming, thanks to a variety of smart features that are integrated for an easy entertainment experience. You can stream to the device using Airplay or Chromecast (the LG SM9000 also works with Apple Airplay), or use SmartCast to watch your favorite streaming services (like Netflix or Hulu), as well as enjoy a wide variety of free channels on WatchFree, which is built into the TV. You don’t need to use the remote to control this TV; instead, you can use Siri, Google, or Alexa!

Ports & Expandability
With 5 HDMI ports (all of which are HDMI 2.0) and support for HDMI ARC, it will be easy to add this TV to your current home entertainment system. It also has one USB port and an ethernet port. You can stream to the Vizio PX65 G1 via Airplay or Chromecast, so you’ll never have any trouble getting what you’re watching on your phone to the giant screen. The TV comes with a stand, but you can also mount it using a VESA wall mount if you wish.
Value
The Vizio PX65 G1 costs $1,993 new, although you can pick up a used “like new” model for $929. If this seems a bit expensive to you, the Sony X720E is a much more budget-friendly smart TV. However, if the price tag doesn’t deter you, then you will be happy to know that the TV itself won’t cost you very much, using only approximately $55 worth of electricity per year! Unlike other models, this TV does not come with a warranty, and there is no protection plan offered (most likely due to the fact that it’s only offered by 3rd party vendors).
Vizio P Series Quantum X Wrap Up
The Vizio P Series Quantum X is a solid TV, offering multiple smart features on a 4K HDR monitor equipped with Quantum Color and Dolby Vision technology. The device itself seems to be a good buy, but the lack of warranties or customer support is very concerning. On the plus side, the TV scores a 4.1 out of 5-stars, so with a bit of luck it should be a good purchase.
