If you are looking for the best indoor drone, the UVify OOri is something you should definitely consider. It is a great high-speed racing drone that comes equipped with a lot of smart modes. The charging speed is blazing fast, and the drone is fully decked out with pretty much all the features a short-range indoor drone will ever need. Its top speeds make it one of the highly-rated drones.

Why We Like It – UVify OOri

UVify likes to advertise their UVify OOri as the “World’s First Smart Racing Drone.” And with its 50 MPH speed and smart flight modes, it definitely deserves that title. The Vision Positioning system works very well, and it’s pretty much a complete package altogether.

Pros
  • Speeds of up to 50 MPH
  • Vision positioning system
  • Three different flight modes
Cons
  • Extremely short flight time of five minutes

Speed & Power

Within its incredibly short flight time, the UVify OOri can reach peak speeds of up to 50 miles per hour. This is unlike the Propel Star Wars drone, which has a top speed of 35MPH. But, the UVify’s speeds are even higher than the DJI Spark Remote Controlled drone, which costs about $50 bucks more. Just make sure to put it in the “Power” mode to achieve those kinds of speeds more easily. Moreover, there’s no real way to hide from a drone at those fast speeds. Only our Walkera F210 review showcases a much better drone that comes with similar speeds of up to 50 miles per hour and an 800-meter range.

Range

Just like the Tello Quadcopter Drone, the UVify OOri is also an indoor drone. So, the range is not really one of its strong suits at all. It can go up to 120 meters before the signals start to drop. It’s not unusably bad, but it’s not very good either.

Durability

The UVify OOri features a tough build, and the propellers are well protected by a metal frame. The BLDC motors are also very durable, and won’t give out as quickly as something like the Holy Stone HS200 Quadcopter Camera Drone.

Camera Features

The built-in camera is an FPV camera for providing a first-person view. It’s nothing crazy good, but, once again, usable. This drone comes with a CMOS sensor, and the max and the minimum focal lengths are 30 and 28, respectively. It uses the same camera for its Vision positioning system.

Value

At $350, this drone undercuts a lot of big players in the market while keeping the same (if not better) feature set. So the UVify OOri is most definitely worth the money. And the manufacturer is a verified member of the Amazon Launchpad program, which should also help build trust.

UVify OOri Wrap Up

Overall, the UVify OOri is a fantastic drone for $350. If you’re planning a drone race between your friends, this is one of the best drones to show up with, mainly because of its top speed.
