Speed/Power
You wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of a collision with this drone, especially considering the max speed is a whopping 49mph. And while it isn’t strictly necessary to need to go faster, you can if you get the DJI Inspire 2. Your airborne browsing experience will be another positive with the drone containing all the intelligent flight modes common to the brand and all are controllable via the DJI Go App. You’re not limited to your mobile phone this time though. So feel free to use your iPad Air if you want!
Range
If there’s one thing this flight battery model could be better at, it’s flight time. It’s slower, more than the Contixo F24 drone. At 20 minutes, it hardly beats out most of the competition from entry-level models! Consider the DJI Mavic 2 Pro 4K Drone for a longer flight time. The operating range is also only about 16 feet, so your piloting skills must be top-notch if you’re looking to fly it above a crowd.
Durability
With a mixture of metal, carbon fiber, and plastic, the DJI Inspire 1 is a tough, not to mention scary-looking, piece of equipment. This pro version also includes the indoor positioning and retractable landing gear from the regular Inspire 1. It’s hefty at 18 pounds, but that just means it has extra meat to stay stable during windy conditions, so we’re counting this as a plus.
Camera Features
The DJI Inspire 1 Pro uses a Zenmuse X5R camera to capture gorgeous 4K videos. The raw video files are stored in the 16GB micro SD Card and can be downloaded to your phone at 720P if you need the videos now. Value
The DJI Inspire 1 Pro comes with a remote controller for those who don’t want to control it with their phone. The micro four-thirds sensor also helps provide the DJI Inspire 1 Pro with very little noise while it’s in the air flying. And we should probably get this out of the way, but the drone is very expensive, which we understand will turn off some prospective users. Unfortunately, the DJI Inspire 1 can’t beat entry-level drones in some categories, such as operating range and battery life. But this drone’s primary function seems to be recording video and stable flight, so I guess they had to prioritize one feature over another. If they made the right decision, well, that’s up to you.
