It can shoot video in 5.2K and has such an advanced obstacle-avoiding system you’ll wonder why they built it to be so heavy duty. But all of this comes at a price, and what a steep price that is. Its features make it a contender for highly-rated drones.
Why We Like It – DJI Inspire 2
The DJI Inspire 2 is an upgrade from the DJI Inspire 1 in every way. The top speed is even higher now thanks to the ability to remove the built-in speed lock, and the dual-battery system allows for a professional drone with more juice than your average drone normally gets.

Speed/Power
The DJI Inspire 2 comes with a pre-programmed top speed of 48 miles per hour. However, you can disable this feature and increase the top speed to 58 miles per hour if you’re confident in your piloting abilities. Intelligent Flight Modes, such as the Obstacle Avoidance System, also come standard with the Inspire 2.
Range
DJI are some of the best drones when it comes to battery life. Featuring a dual battery set-up for enhanced performance, the drone clocks in at around 25 minutes of flight time. And while this may not sound like much, 25 minutes is just a little bit higher than average when it comes to professional drones. Durability
The inspire 2 retains the same quad-copter layout as the Inspire 1 and continues using super-tough carbon-fiber materials for the arms which gives the drone impressive strength. The body is now composed of a magnesium composite too. A new feature is a forward-facing FPV camera mounted on a bar in front of the camera drone.
Camera Features
DJI’s tried and true Zenmuse camera has grown alongside the drones, and the Zenmuse X5S Camera is the latest iteration of that camera line built into the Inspire 2. Value
Make sure you install the DJI GO 4 App and not the DJI GO from the Inspire 1 series. But once in you’ll have access to a bunch of cool features, such as Spotlight Pro, which allows you to automatically track moving objects. The Inspire 2 is an expensive machine though. DJI Inspire 2 Wrap Up
To be frank, I have a hard time seeing how an average person could be able to afford a drone like this. Professionals I get. Their return on investment will be much greater. But do you or I really need this much firepower? Well, still, other than the price, I can’t find anything wrong with the drone. So if you have the money and want the best drone you can buy, go for it.
