The Stanley High-Velocity Air Circulator Fan has three speed settings for greater control of the amount of air you get and a pivoting head so you can make that fan blow its cold air where you need it. It’s a little on the heavy side, but a durable fan with an all-steel construction is likely to be heavier than most. So why should you buy this fan? Well, let’s find out more…

Performance/Power

Stanley High-Velocity Direct Drive Floor Fans provide your room with industry-leading, powerful airflow rated up to 4800 CFMs. This is more than the Simple Deluxe 20 Inch 3 Speed High-Velocity Fan. The Stanley 20-Inch Industrial High-Velocity Floor Fan also comes equipped with three speed settings for better, more accurate airflow in any situation. You can also check out the B-Air FIRTANA, which has a similarly powerful airflow.

Durability/Build

The durable and heavy-duty Stanley 20 Inch High-Velocity Fan The Stanley 20 Inch High-Velocity Fan comes with an all-metal construction for added longevity. It also comes included with a floor stand base to make mounting easier. It weighs about 16 pounds, which isn’t heavy by any stretch of the imagination, but is a little on the heavy side when it comes to an outdoor floor or pedestal fan (kind of like the Vornado 293). Consider the Geek Aire Fan if you would prefer something a little more lightweight.

Noise/Sound Level

The Stanley Floor Wall Fan High Velocity doesn’t have any dB levels measured or stated outright, so we’ll have to turn to the wisdom of customer reviews. While it is an overall quiet fan, it’s also more powerful than most so the noise level does tend to be slightly higher. The metal construction also means there’s a chance you might get a grating or rattling noise on top of the actual fan noise, so be on the lookout for that.

Versatility/Modern Features

The Stanley Wall Mount Fan doesn’t come with a remote control, which would have added a touch of modernity to it. Then again, the fan is going for a more rugged aesthetic, and a remote control probably wouldn’t fit the bill. Likewise, considering it can be used for outdoor applications as well, a remote control probably wouldn’t be the best idea because it can easily get lost outside. It also cannot double as a ceiling fan, for better or worse, so consider the Ryobi Fan if ceiling fans are in your needs category.

Value

Don’t try to blend the fan in with your Kitchen appliances or kitchen dining table because it will clash. The Stanley Floor Fan isn’t going to win any home decor award. However, there is something to be said about the rugged aesthetic we’ve already mentioned. And while it will clash inside your home, it will work wonders outside, in a warehouse, or at a job site. Stanley is a company that focuses mainly on power tools, after all.

Stanley 20 Inch Industrial High-Velocity Floor Fan Wrap Up

The Stanley 20-Inch Industrial High-Velocity Floor Fan includes a heavy-duty floor stand so you don’t have to worry about it falling over. There’s no assembly wither, so just take it out of the box and onto the stand to begin your cooling. It may be a little bit louder than most, admittedly, but it’s also more powerful. Whether this is a fair trade-off we’ll leave it up to you to decide.
