The Pelonis Electric Oscillating Fan comes equipped with a four-hour timer so the fan will shut off by itself when the time comes. Keep in mind this is the high-end of the timer. If you need it to shut off earlier go ahead and do so. This top-grade fan also comes with a five-foot power cord though. Even just an extra foot can make a big difference.

The Pelonis Fan is a three-speed fan that has both an oscillating head and is adjustable from 3.5-4 feet for greater control of airflow and air direction. It comes with a remote control so you can control the fan from your desk or your couch. Or if you prefer, you can use the buttons on the fan instead.

Performance/Power

The Pelonis Oscillating Tower Fan features three-speed settings and is tilt adjustable so you have greater control of how much air you’re getting and where that air is going. The fan also comes equipped with a four-hour timer. If you’re the type who forgets to shut off your electronics, or just want to save space in your mind, this is the feature for you. It also helps save on energy costs by not overstaying its welcome.

Durability/Build

Pelonis Three-Speed Oscillating Pedestal Fans are adjustable from 3.5 feet to 4 feet, which is just like the Honeywell double-blade fan. While adjustability is always nice, we don’t think half a foot makes too much difference. But if adjustability isn’t something you’re concerned with, check out the B-Air Firtana. The motor on the Pelonis fan also has overheat protection so you can be assured it won’t spark and cause injury to you or your family.

Noise/Sound Level

The Pelonis Stand Fan makes about 50dB of noise on average according to the product page. A little less on low setting and a little high on high setting. For reference, 50dB is about the normal conversation level between people. It’s a pretty quiet fan, then, which we really appreciate. But be aware that, on the highest setting, it may make a noise akin to a household refrigerator. For a much quieter unit, you’ll want to grab the Rowenta VU5670.

Versatility/Modern Features

The Pelonis 16 Inch DC Motor Pedestal Fan comes equipped with a multi-functional, battery-operated remote control so you can control the fan from anywhere you like. You can also control it from the push buttons on the fan itself if you’re close enough. If you prefer button control because you don’t want to spend extra on batteries for the remote, check out the Geek Aire Fan.

Value

Pelonis makes many types of box fans, desk fans, portable fans, and table fans. They are all quality products and this fan is no different. It comes with a one-year manufacturer warranty and because it comes in two colors the fan black or white, can meld into your decor much easier. The power cord is only five feet, which is a little too short for our liking, so check out the Ryobi Fan for a fan with an included extension cord.

Pelonis Fan Wrap Up

The Pelonis Oscillating Fan has a motor that protects against overheating, keeping you and your family safe. We will always welcome this kind of safety feature. The fan is also quiet. Not as quiet as a desk fan, but keep in mind it’s almost four feet taller. For a fan of its size and class, and it doesn’t make more noise than it’s supposed to.
