Why We Like It – Modway Thrive Drafting Chair – Tall Office Chair

The Modway Thrive Drafting Chair – Tall Office Chair is perfect for your home office, school or workplace. The stool’s adjustable height range of about 8 inches makes it great even for short people, and being one of the very few chairs that come with lumbar support, it poses no harm to your back.

Pros
  • Easy to assemble
  • Available in 5 colors
  • 1 Year Warranty
Cons
  • Back support is non adjustable

Support

As mentioned above, there’s not much lumbar support on this Modway Thrive desk chair, but what is there should be more than enough to help keep your lower back steady as you do your work. The back support you get here may not be equivalent to what you’ll get from the Flash Furniture Mid-Back drafting chair, but both chairs do come with a foot ring, and a breathable mesh seat & mesh back to keep you cool whenever you sit on them.

Comfort

The padded mesh seat on this tall office chair is very similar to what you’ll find on the Modway Veer Drafting Chair, and this applies from the waterfall seat design to the thickness, but what sets them apart is that the Veer chair has padded armrests while the Thrive mesh chair does not. Adjusting the seat height of this mesh seat standing desk chair is also relatively easy, as unlike the Seville Classics Airlift 360 Sit-Stand Adjustable Ergonomic Active Balance Non-Slip Desk Stool, it comes with a lever that’s just below the seat that you can push or pull to lower or raise the height of the stool.

Adjustability

You definitely won’t come across any issues when adjusting the height of the Modway Drafting workday adjustable chair. It’s seat height ranges anywhere from 20.5 to 28 inches high, and its foot ring as well can be raised or lowered to your preferred position.

Breathability

As a chair that comes with a padded mesh seat, you shouldn’t expect to have any problems with breathability. It’s low backrest is also breathable as well, and because it is much lower than that of an ordinary leather chair, most of your back will remain exposed.

Value

While most adjustable standing desks are only available in the color black, you’ll be able to get this Modway drafting chair tall office stool in up to five different colors. It’s available in red, blue, black, orange and grey, so you’ll have the liberty to choose a color that matches well with your office decor.
