Having 1200 watts of suction power trapped in a compact machine is what makes the Miele C1 Powerline the best vacuum for laminate floors. Putting that power to good use will only leave behind a cleaner laminate flooring. And to sweeten the deal, dust and dirt are trapped inside the bag via a locking system. Why We Like It – Miele C1 Powerline

Despite its small stature, the Miele C1 Powerline is rockin’ 1200 watts of suction power, a dust bag that locks in particulates, and 6-setting suction control.

Pros
  • 6-setting suction control
  • 1200 watts of cleaning power
  • Dust bag has a locking system
Cons
  • Use vacuum bags

Power

With how compact the Miele Compact C1 Pure Suction Powerline is, you wouldn’t think it would have high suction power. But you’d be wrong. Packed inside the canister vacuums are 1200 watts of suction power. It’s an ideal power rating for hard floors, tall, medium, and low pile carpets.

Speed & Efficiency

Aside from its power, which gives it great speed and efficiency, its air clean filter system stands out as its flagship feature. Rather than let dirt and dust leak from its chassis, the bags have a locking system that keeps said debris locked inside; once it’s trapped, it’s there for good. To make these the best Miele vacuums, a sleek crevice tool and Parquet floorhead SBB was used for a wide cleaning path and versatility.

Bin Capacity & Maintenance

Even its bin capacity is solid, handling up to 3.5 liters per bag. And since the Miele C1 Powerline uses vacuum bags, you hardly have to maintain the machine. With bagless canister vacuum cleaners, like the Kenmore Elite Vacuum, the bin must be cleaned occasionally.

Durability

A combination of hard plastic and chrome, the Miele C1 Powerline has to be sturdy. The bags are especially strong considering once it’s closed, you won’t see dirt leaking out. It’s similar build quality you’d see from a C1 Homecare, Miele Complete, a Miele Classic C1 Powerline SBAN0, or even a C1 Turbo Team.

Value

Compared to a Dyson V8 Animal Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, the Miele C1 Powerline is cheap, as is every other vacuum. It has several key features that someone with allergy issues will want to take advantage of, like its locking mechanism on the vacuum bags. The suction power is also a big win, especially on hardwood floors and carpets. But remember: consider the cost of the bags, too. The best vacuums for bagless, in this case, the Shark Navigator Lift-Away would be comparable.

Miele C1 Powerline Wrap Up

Miele C1 Powerline may use vacuum bags, but it’s for good reason. Having a mechanism that keeps dirt trapped inside is a huge win against combating allergies and whatnot. And with 1200 watts of suction power, multiple suction settings, and a good debris capacity, you’ll be capturing quite a lot.
