The Bissell Zing Bagged Canister 4122 is packing more power than you’d imagine, making it another candidate as the best bagged vacuum. This is in addition to being able to clean multiple surfaces, both carpets and bare floors alike. And to prevent vacuum bags from popping, it comes with a helpful full bag indicator. If you’d like to see some bagless vacuums, like you’ll see in our Bissell PowerEdge pet hardwood floor bagless cleaner review. For additional options, check out our best vacuum cleaner reviews.

Why We Like It – Bissell Zing Bagged Canister 4122

The Bissell Zing Bagged Canister 4122 is packing a lot more power than you’d think. Combine that with multi-surface cleaning and you’ve got yourself a confident vacuum cleaner for small homes.

Pros
  • Powerful suction for a small vacuum
  • Multi surface cleaning
  • Full bag indicator
Cons
  • Extra cost of bags
  • Only 2.5 liter dust bag capacity

Power

Despite being small, the Bissell Zing Bagged Canister 4122 has quite a punch in terms of suction power. It’s superb when it comes to lower cropped carpets, but does suffer a bit with shag carpeting. It also has variable suction control, so you always get what you need.

Speed & Efficiency

Like the Black+Decker Max Flex, the Bissell Zing’s efficiency can be seen in once instance by its variable suction control, so you always get the suction power you need for the job. It also comes with an automatic cord rewind button, reducing the overall amount of time spent preparing the vacuum. Its pre-motor filter and post-motor filter are particularly good at capturing fine dust and pet hair.

Bin Capacity & Maintenance

Even though the Bissell Zing Bagged Canister Vacuum Cleaner 4122 is small, that still doesn’t excuse such a small dust bag. At 2.5 liters, the dust bags are small compared to the Oreck Magnesium. To be fair, it’s not far from the more expensive Miele Complete C3 Marin, which asks for $1100 for just 4.5 liters of storage.

Durability

The Bissell Zing Bagged Canister 4122 isn’t winning any awards for durability anytime soon. Being made primarily of plastic, like the crevice tool, with a few attachments using lightweight metal, it’s susceptible to breaking if not handled correctly. The Kenmore Upright Vacuum is in the same boat, but not all Kenmore’s are fragile, like the Kenmore Elite vacuum. It’s incredibly sturdy.

Value

If we’re talking strictly performance, the Bissell Zing Bagged Canister 4122 performs better at floor cleaning than you’d expect from a $60 vacuum; it performs above that. And it’s such a small vacuum! But despite its $60 price, you also have to consider all the bags you’re buying. So for an option without bags, you’ll want to visit our Bissell canister vacuum review.

Bissell Zing Bagged Canister 4122 Wrap Up

The Bissell Zing Bagged Canister 4122 might have some powerful suction despite a smaller body, but it will fill up its vacuum bags fast. However, that makes it all the more reason to pick it up for smaller homes, especially since it can vacuum hard flooring and carpeted. It doesn’t hurt that it has a full bag indicator either.
