The Bissell Cleanview Bagless Vacuum Cleaner knows just how to tackle hard floors. Its brush roll is equipped with OnePass technology and Scatter-Free technology. So when you’re vacuuming any spot, its powerful suction should clean up most (if not all) debris on one pass. And if you’re vacuuming hard floors? Forget about the scattering! With Scatter-Free technology, it keeps dirt and dust from exiting the back of the vacuum. It can even tackle pet hair with its brush tool, though we found the Dyson Animal 2 to be much more powerful and efficient against pet hair.
Design
Out of all the vacuums on our list, the Bissell Cleanview is one, if not the heaviest vacuum on our list. Weighing in at 17.96 lbs, it’s nearly twice as much as the Eureka PowerSpeed Lite, but just half a pound more than the Dyson Animal 2. That makes it harder for elderly to handle. On the bright side, this best Bissell vacuum has an easy empty dirt tank most vacuum cleaners are equipped with these days. It comes with a turbobrush tool dusting brush, an extension wand, and a dusting brush crevice tool, with a power cord that extends 25 feet, as does the Shark Navigator Vacuum Cleaner.
Value
After considering its performance on hard floors, the Bissell Cleanview has our mark of good value. The Bissell Cleanview Vacuum Cleaner will fit right at home in a place that’s mostly hard floors, however. It cleans carpets just fine, thanks to its OnePass technology. With its Scatter-Free technology, however, specifically targets hard floors. And plus, it has a nice 2 year limited warranty. Should anything happen, their fantastic customer service will be there to help you. If you also rent an apartment, your best renters insurance might also cover this vacuum if an accident happens to it. But if you’re looking for something that’s good on bare floors and carpets equally, we would recommend the Eureka PowerSpeed Lite.
Bissell Cleanview Wrap Up
The Bissell Cleanview’s OnePass technology and Scatter-Free technology really came in handy when tackling particularly dirty areas on hard floors, without kicking the dirt out the back or off to the side. It translated well onto carpets. While it is on the heavier side, it’s still easy to maneuver. And saving money on filters with its washable filter gets bonus points from us, too.
