Performance
A vacuum should be versatile in its floor cleaning. Why stop at cleaning carpets? The Eureka Power Speed Lite has powerful suction that can lift dirt from carpets as thick as shag rugs, and even extract pet hair from furniture. Hard floors aren’t ignored either; the Eureka PowerSpeed Lite did an excellent job sucking up dust and dirt that hung around. What was great was the very large dust cup. You can get a day’s worth of vacuuming done on just a single canister, just like with the Eureka canister vacuum. If any vacuum can challenge its performance, the Dyson Animal 2 or Shark Navigator Vacuum Cleaner can.
Design
You wouldn’t realize it at first, but the Eureka PowerSpeed Lite is one of the most lightweight bagless vacuum cleaners on our list. It’s impressive the kind of power that comes out of such a lightweight vacuum. It weighs exactly 10 lbs, half of what the Bissell Cleanview weighs. What makes that great is even the elderly can handle it without much fuss. Its bulkiness can be awkward to handle, but you’ll get used to it—and swivel steering does help immensely. It comes with a 7-inch crevice tool, dusting brush, and upholstery tool.
Value
For what you are paying, the Eureka PowerSpeed Lite has some surprising value. Given its performance, extra-large dust cup, and lightweight design—we can say, with confidence, the Eureka PowerSpeed Bagless Upright Vacuum has great value. This is especially true if you are in desperate need of a replacement vacuum, but do not want to spend the kind of money you would on a Dyson Animal 2. At the same time, its lightweight design means even the elderly can take advantage of it.
