The Medify Air has the kind of fan power to rival that of Dyson’s own lineup. This is because it’s running off of 95 watts of power. Place it in a room as big as 2400 square feet, and it’ll easily have the air sufficiently cleaned in an hour. This is unlike the InvisiClean IC-103 that only works for personal use. And if you drop its air changes per hour to just one, you can even clean a 3700 square foot area. What’s interesting is the fact that the Alen BreatheSmart Classic Large Room Air Purifier covers half as much square feet, but for the same price.
Versatility
Like the Oransi Max HEPA Air Purifier, the Medify Air has a 4-stage filtration system. Larger particles are first captured by the pre-filter. Any smaller airborne particles (0.3 microns) then come face to face with the True HEPA filter. Toxic odors and formaldehyde are handled by the carbon filter, whereas the ionizer traps particles, preventing them from escaping back into the open air. But, do you know if your air purifier works with central air? There may be a huge difference.
Durability
Being tall and wide, the Medify Air isn’t easily knocked over, despite being made of plastic. It was built with thicker plastic, giving it great durability without making it weigh two tonnes. Value
The Medify Air is powerful, perhaps too powerful. If its performance is overkill, the Coway Airmega 400 covers 1560 square feet for $100 cheaper. But if you do stick to it, you won’t be disappointed; however, you do need to come to terms with the replacement filter costs. Outside of that, it’s worth every single penny.
